This is the site of one of the greatest tragedies struck by love. When Allauddin Khalji seized the great Fort, little did he know that he would never see the very reason for the conquer - the beautiful Rani Padmini. Chittor revolves around the fort and the structures within. And there's hardly much else to do here. Indeed, Chittor is easily covered in a day-trip and there are hardly too many tourists milling around. But whatever you do, we recommend that you must visit this tiny town and carry home incredible memories.
