Monsoon Ideas
Jaipur is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the desert state of Rajasthan. Counted as the first planned city in India, Jaipur is almost entirely covered in pink, just rendering it its name – Pink City. Jaipur is a fine mix of the modern and traditional and its streets and lanes are lined with a number of palaces, markets, shopping malls, hotels and restaurants. Jaipur enjoys a rather tropical climate all through, so avoid visiting it in summer when the heat is at its peak – rather, winters are the best time to visit this beautiful city. The rainfall here is rather scarce, though a few short spells reduce the temperature considerably. Thus if you’re looking for a comfortable holiday amidst traditions, Jaipur can be visited during monsoons.
