Monsoon Ideas
Sit back and enjoy the serenity of this quiet settlement as you gaze at the world’s third highest peak, Kanchenjunga. Pelling is a perfect getaway and has it all - a laid-back atmosphere, cool climate, scenic surroundings and eye-soothing, snow capped mountains. Go during the monsoons to watch the clouds that descend on the hills and cover the thick alpine forests. Walk around the town to discover its numerous cascades and falls which turn milky white as the rain pours. Various trek routes make the place fun for adventure-lovers too. However, carry sturdy walking shoes if touring Pelling during the monsoons.
