Closely located to CBS on the main road itself. Varad Ganapati mandir is a couple of distance away as are hospitals, medical stores and an up-to-date cyber cafe. The room that was given to me was an a/c though I hadn't equsted for one and had a TV which I did not use. Double bed was covered by a rudimentary but clean sheet and blanket. Hot water heater was missing but I bathe with cold shower anyway. Curtains were light and one window pane was not covered. Th eone that was by the light curtains held by a pin opened on the main road side adn had traffic ll through the day and night. While some can view it as nuisance I thought of it as additional security. Mewadi food restaurnt attached is purely Veg - not "classy" but serves good and hot food. I tried chana masala, roti, alu paratha, butter milk etc. and found all were palatable plus easy on the digestive system. The small general stores below sells everything from chocolates and biscuits to condoms. I paid INR 50 from station to the hotel - unmetered and unbargained but INR 30 only from the hotel to the station - a distance under 3KM. The few sites within the city are closely located like paan-chakki etc. and the main road takes you out to Ajintha-Verul etc.
