It was a wonderful experience staying in the hotel for me i.e. hotel Gold Finch, Bangalore. This hotel was convenient to us as it was near Int'l Airport. We did enjoy our stay over there. Ramadas Kandeth

The all 'excellents' is not a mundane attempt but a genuine drive after a slew of hotel- stays in the past year and half that has imbibed in me the sense that more money does not mean sweeter facilities and most certainly not class service. Certainly, I do not mean that a five hundred rupee stay is better than a five hundred rupee stay; nor do I intend to imply that the bell- boys and room- service should jump at my command but after a saying- unsatisfactory- would- be- an- understatement stay at a five star where room service were not rude but definitely not cordial; do- not- disturb signs were sloppily ignored and the hotel itself was less than accommodating, I had given up hope of ever staying in a good hotel with decent class- even it meant forking out a bit more; though not to the tune of Bellagios or Mirages. Amenities are only secondary in a satisfying stay, specially for a person like me who would stay in a youth hostel even- if I was traveling alone. But, when I am not, I like service to be true to the money I pay or the star- rating of the hotel. I want them to have class. It is hard to imagine how incredibly rare it is to find that. It is hard to put the calculation of that class in parameters; it is only a complex and subjective judgement but it really makes you feel like your money was worth it. But this hotel, though four- star, is awesome in service. People smile and make decent small talk, give you your space ( most important), behave with good- manners. Really, although, by no means am I a frequent in the poshest of the posh, from my little experience, I like the professionalism. Cons.... I would have liked the room a bit bigger (though the small room was more cosy), a balcony/ patio and a bathtub.
