We booked a double room for one night and clearly specified that we were two adults with two children aged 5 yrs and 11 yrs. We paid for the booking as per the charges shown on the website. When we checked in the hotel and asked for an extra bed the hotel management told us that we were not entitled for an extra bed and would have to pay extra for it. The attitude for the hotel management is impolite and rude. They are ignorant of basic information like airport checkin formalities etc. They are not bothered about guest relations. As the hotel refused to give us extra bed without extra cost , we left the matter therein. Later the hotel house keeping by them selves and at their own gave us the extra bed. We were under the impression that the hotel was doing it as a goodwill gesture. Little did we realise that this would end up in a life threatening experience. Next day we settled all food bills before checking out. Just as we were about to move out of the hotel for airport, the hotel reception started demanding us for the payment for the extra bed provided to us. They were just not willing to listen to us saying that since you have availed of the facility , we will have to pay for it. It does'nt matter if we have asked for the facility or not. The hotel staff 4 -5 people gheraoed us and were very rude. It was a life threatening experience for us and a nightmare. Never expected that any hotel can behave in this fashion. We paid Rs. 10000/- per night for the ordinary room . No mineral water, no toiletries, leaking toilets. The bed linen was also not clean and had stains on them.They call themselves five star. The hotel should check the room before allotting it to the guest. Can any body believe that a basic facility like mineral water is not provided by them. A very bad experience. The food served is too oily, spicy and sub standard. The buffet spread both at dinner and breakfast was below standards, disappointing.After this we have decided to go only with reputed brands, names because by paying slightly extra , one can get a peaceful; and memorable stay. The hotel has got no respect for its customers and doesnt value guest relations. They just dont listen to the guest and are masters in arguments and rowdy attitude

The quality of the room was excellent. The interiors were fabulous, based on British architecture. The hospitality was impressive. The food was good but they serve only vegetarian. The only problem that was faced was that I had made the booking for 3 adults ,but while checking out I was made to pay for the extra bed. When the deal is made through a travel portal, all the necessary terms and conditions should be made clear before hand. If one feels cheated at any point of time, all the excellent service and hospitality just goes in vain. Please try to improve upon the details of terms and conditions.
