This hotel has upped its service and now is an excellent place to stay in Pune. The rooms are clean and well decorated but could do with better lighting and more TV channels. The concierge service was amazing and provided effecient service. The spa was a heavenly experience and not to be missed.

This is a beautiful hotel with the worst service ever. Beautiful lobby, well dressed doorman, valets, and security staff lull you to believe that this place will be an ultimate luxury hotel but it is otherwise in respect to the service and staff. The check-in staff was incompetent and lacked knowledge of check in formalities, kept referring to her collegues. I was not informed about the facilities in the hotel. She did not know what the internet charges in the hotel were, neither did she bother to find out. The room was absolutely beautiful and I couldnt fault it other than a closet sized toilet and shower and the open bath tub, would be rather awquard if you shared the room with someone other than your spouse or partner. The view from the room was beautiful, the beds and pillows very comfortable. They even have a pillow menu!! Flat screen t.v., study table and proper lightening were amazing. The room has wireless as well as wired internet service which works amazingly but staff are completely clueless about everything. I called to ask the reception about the rates again and the staff asked me if I wanted to use the internet on a computer or mobile and I said laptop (since I was carrying one). The person said he would call me back with the information and he did, only to tell me that he had an adapter and no laptop. LOL!! How ridiculous can this person be?? He did not know what I asked for or perhaps didnt know what internet charges meant. I kept wondering how they managed with the foreign guests they had whose accent and questions would probably leave them speechless or zoned out. The worst service experience that I ever had was with this hotel, and believe me I travel a lot and stay in a whole lot of places. Housekeeping staff rang my doorbell at 3 a.m. in the morning with someone else's luggage!! Who wants to be awakened at this ungodly hour with something that does not even belong to you. Check out was an even bigger shocker. The check out staff handed me a bill for 2 nights stay even though I had paid for everything upfront. Imagine my horror at seeing such a bill!! I had to inform him that everything was already paid for after which he checked and double checked and managed to find my check-in vouchers. I had to remind him to charge me for the internet and let him know the charges too.LOL!! Another wonderful service is the valet. I had some guests whose car the valet managed to dent in the hour they visited with me. Go to this place only if you dont mind this worse service ever for the price of a 5 star hotel or better yet if you speak a language the staff dont understand, so it wont matter anyway.
