PRATAP from NEW DELHI, India does not recommend this hotel - Posted: 05 Feb 2010
There is nothing good to mention about that hotel.Rooms were very small. Manager was very rude.Blankets and bedsheets were dirty and old. There was a tv which was without a remote. I will neither recommend this hotel nor visit it again. The only good thing about that hotel was view facing rooms.

This hotel is a new property. It is located very conveniently near ISBT, Shimla and is overlooking the valley providing a good scenery.
Room facing the valley have large windows which provide magnificent view.
Kitchen opens only upto 10 pm and time are fixed for room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Food in the room service is good and is reasonably priced.
The rooms we were provided did not have AC or fans though the temperature does not demand it either.
Just by its location the hotel is a good value of money.
Staff is helpful and makes all travel arrangements at the hotel.
There is shortage of water in Shimla and probably in all budget class hotels. Running hot water was provided but sometimes in the evening water is finished and supply is restored in couple of hours by using tanker (I suppose).
To sum up it is a good budget hotel.
Cars can not go upto the hotel gate and you have to walk a little distance from main road to reach the hotel. The distance is easily walkable though for luggage you will need porters.
