The hotel was one of the better ones in the area. There were no surprises at check-in or the room type either. However, hotel staff need to clean the room and prevent cockroaches (saw a dead one in front of AC). Basic courtesy such as providing drinking water in the room was also missing. Furthermore, in these types of hotels, it is usually a practice to provide shaving kit, brush set, etc to travellers on request. However, this was not entertained by the staff either. We were on the 3rd floor, had to climb stairs as lift was not provisioned. Quality of Service and cleanliness can definitely be improved.

Starting with the Reception of the Hotel: We happened to book 2 rooms and we made is very clear and precise that the rooms need to be closer to each other. On destination, we found that the rooms were located at different situations. No issues, we could manage to communicate and meet as matter of time. This should be considered as the complaint neither the compliment. I do understand some time (mostly during the peak time) the communication do go mishap. Most important is the room. They were neatly tied and the facilities pointed by the hotel was up-to date. Hence for this I rate 4 out of 5. Quality of the service: They had a service of Ayurveda Massage. we tried contacting them for same, while the person who does massage was not available, hence we could not get any service for massage for the foresaid as it was mentioned on their menus. i consider that as fake. Hotel had organised the larger screen to view the most awaited cricket session and it was a great atmosphere. For this I rate them again 4 out of 5. Swimming pool maintained by the hotel is good again. Service though is bad, but we enjoyed and that what counts the more. It was good. I would also like to add one more thing in Quality of the service. Staff members do not know to speak / communicate English properly. I dont blame them, but at least some feasible language as mostly people might not be from kerala itself. Thirdly Quality of the Dining Options: Food was awesome and thats no doubt. We had Vegetarian Dinner and lunch and it was good. But that washes away when the plates and even glassess stinks. They do not wash it properly. You can smell Fish smell in the glass and plates respectively. Thats yuk indeed! Again the complimentary breakfast was pathetic. They should improve on that. They know they have a good chef, they should not hamper the image of the hotel by providing anything on the complimentary side of the table. Quality of Cleanliness: I found them decent and appreciable. Hence I rate them 4 out of 5. Overall we enjoyed staying here.. Other than few things where the hotel should work out, others were good. I would surely stay on my next visit at the same hotel. First, Instead of Three days weekend and hotel continously getting booked, travel guru's customer officer managed to get two rooms for us. He was patient and very supportive. He used to call continously and was in touch with minute of minute details. I am not aware about his name now, but I thank him from the bottom of my heart. Secondly the options was wide and that became much easier to book. Website was effecient and well progressed. Thanks for the wonderful moment. This would be my only portal for the future travel decision packs. Thanks!

Hotel is near to bus stand which is good because of all accessibilites. Front look of the hotel was very attractive but considering room cleaness not our expectation. Service was just average.We are very badly affected on food because of non availability of various menu. Food quality also OK.

The stay was wonderful in this hotel. Stayed in double suite room it was maintained very well. Service was quick. We tried the food in restaurant n it was tasty.

The receptionist was truly wonderful, always smiling and courteous, could guide us to visit nearby places. The massage center (AyurKendra) rocks!! there is also a recreational center. I would recommend anyone visiting Sultan Batheri to stay at this place & get their money's worth!! apart from this the Xmas buffet dinner & breakfast at the hotel was exceptionally good.
