| A rather obscure town in the northern part of the state of Maharashtra, Jalgoan draws tourists for being an active trade center and for being a base to explore the nearby attractions of Ajanta and Ellora. Jalgaon is home to some tourists spots too. The Omkareshwar Temple in Jalgaon, dedicated to Lord Shiva is a major devotee puller here. It attracts maximum crowd to Jalgaon for Shivaratri. The Echchhapoorti Ganesh Temples is also a major religious center here. Pal hill makes for an interesting picnic spot around Jalgaon. |
