If you find any hotel across India with a lower room rate on any website than what you booked on www.travelguru.com for the exact same hotel & room category date, then claim for a refund.
Conditions:
  1. The India hotel booking has made on www.travelguru.com.
  2. The refund will be reimbursed in the form of eVoucher(s) equivalent to your full booking amount in denominations of Rs.500*. The eVouchers shall expire six (6) months from the date of issuance, and shall not be replaced if lost. Only 01 (one) eVoucher can be used per booking. Extension of eVoucher validity is strictly not allowed. The eVoucher may be redeemed only once and has no cash value. Any value in the eVoucher not utilized in one single booking transaction will be forfeited.
  3. These eVoucher(s) can be used only on www.travelguru.com
  4. Provided that the difference between the Travelguru rate and that on the other site is more than Rs.200/-, we will additionally refund the difference amount to you. This will be transmitted as a ‘cashback’ through your respective payment channel.
  5. You will have to submit relevant proof as required by Travelguru.
* The Travelguru “Lowest Price Guaranteed” must satisfy the requirements full terms and conditions listed below.
When does the Lowest Price Guaranteed apply?
  1. The Travelguru Lowest Price Guaranteed applies to India hotel bookings made on www.travelguru.com only on or after 2nd December 2011.
  2. The Travelguru Lowest Price Guaranteed applies to any hotel across India & the comparison should be made only on price of the basic room rate. This does not include taxes, surcharges and fees.
  3. This offer is NOT applicable on holiday packages or International hotels
  4. In order to qualify as a lower rate, it must be for an identical booking, where the same hotel, as the case may be, is booked in a single transaction. All booking details, including the following, must exactly match the details of the hotel, as the case may be, you booked on www.travelguru.com:
    • Hotel (including room type & room category)
    • Dates and times of check-in & check out
    • All applicable cancellation and refund policies of the hotel.
    • Hotel bookings, needs to be prepaid in full and be confirmed at the point of booking.
  5. A lower rate does not include rates on coupon sites, as well as websites where the hotel property are opaque or unknown until after purchase, or where prices are determined by any sort of name-your-own-price, or auction/ bidding services. The lower rate cannot come from a website, which requires you to phone-in to get the rate, or from an email that you received.
  6. This offer is NOT applicable in case any other travel site or respective hotel site offers discount, coupons, vouchers or cashback on the selected hotel, thereby having a comparatively lower rate.
  7. The lower rate shall not include corporate discounts or rates, group rates, reward program rates, incentives, meeting rates, convention rates, etc or prices available only by using a coupon or voucher, or any other rates or promotions not offered to the general public. The lower rate must be quoted and booked online in Indian Rupees (without reference to any currency converters).
  8. The lower rate does not include errors or mistakes, including pricing errors.
How do I invoke the Lowest Price Guaranteed?
  1. You must complete and submit the lowest price guarantee claim form to us via email at lowestpriceguarantee@travelguru.com before 2300 hours on the day of your booking on www.travelguru.com, along with relevant screen shots of the compared site with prices clearly visible.
  2. All requests, including the scanned copies, are subject to Travelguru’s verification. Travelguru's decisions will be final. By submitting a Travelguru Lowest Price Guaranteed request, you fully and unconditionally agree that you are bound by these Terms and Conditions and by Travelguru's decisions. Travelguru will not grant any Travelguru Lowest Price Guaranteed request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made in bad faith.
  3. All Travelguru Lowest Price Guaranteed requests will be verified within four (4) working days upon receipt. You will receive an email from Travelguru on whether the claim request is successful.
  4. For a successful claim , Travelguru will issue to you eVoucher(s) as follows: The refund amount will be sent in the form of eVoucher(s) with denominations of Rs. 500* for domestic hotel bookings only. The e Voucher(s) shall expire six (6) months from the date of issuance, and shall not be replaced if lost. Only 01 (one) e Voucher can be used per booking. Extension of e Voucher validity is strictly not allowed. The e Voucher may be redeemed only once and has no cash value. Any value in the eVoucher not utilized in one single booking transaction will be forfeited.
  5. The eVoucher will be sent to the email address used to make the hotel booking.
  6. You shall receive your cash back within fourteen (14) days after we verify and notify you of your successful claim request.
