The City Palace Complex belongs to the prestigious Royal Mewar family in Rajasthan. This heritage tourist site is the largest Palace complex in Udaipur.

Shri Prabhu (Ekling) Temple: This magnificent temple is located in Kailashpuri, some 20 kilometers away from the main city. The temple is a hotspot for spiritually inclined people around the world. The temple is attended by a fair amount of foreign tourists, seeking peace, spirituality and inner self.

 Bagore ki Haveli: The place is an architectural wonder & was built by the prime minister of Mewar in the 18th century.  The Haveli is located on the lake Pichola. The wonderful interiors of the Haveli are the reminiscence of the alluring Mewari luxury. The haveli has more than 100 well maintained rooms with terraces and courtyards spread across its dimensions.

Monsoon Palace (Sajjan Garh): Perched high on a hill above the city, the Monsoon palace can be easily seen from the city. As the name suggests, Monsoon Palace was a favored getaway for the royals during monsoons. The Palace was built by Maharaja Sajjan Singh in the late 19th century and is now being restored by the Indian government. The beautiful location and the scenic views from this palace make it a must visit attraction in Udaipur.

Udaipur Solar Observatory: Udaipur solar observatory is considered to be the best observatory in Asia. The observatory was built under the guidance of by Dr. Aravind Bhatnagar in the year 1976.  This observatory is situated on an island in Fateh Sagar lake and was designed as per the model of Solar Observatory at big bear lake in California, USA. Since the sky conditions are favorable for solar observation providing a clearer look at the outer space.

Lake Pichola/Fateh Sagar: These manmade lakes are one of the most important tourist attractions in Udaipur. Lake pichola is located around city palace complex. You can explore this beautiful lake on a boat ride. Lake Fateh sagar lies on the northern part of Lake Pichola. This lake is complimented with tranquil mountains at the back, three beautiful islands, zoo and a boat shaped restaurant.

Udaipur has a glorious history and possesses many old world structures redefining the era of kingship and monarchy. The city represents the entire country and is certainly one of the gems of tourism in India.
