Ko Samui – Situated off the Eastern coast in southern Thailand is the largest archipelago with more than 80 islands. It’s a tropical island lined with coconut palms, hilly, jungle interior of spectacular views and waterfalls sweeps down to perfect white sand beaches and azure blue water. The Island remains unspoiled, with the tallest buildings rising no higher than the tallest palm tree.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Ko Samui (Guru Recommends Angthong National Marine)
Welcome to Thailand!!! Once you arrive at the Ko Samui International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel / resort in Ko Samui. After check-in, while the rest of the day is free at leisure, we recommend you Angthong National Marine Park. This park is full of fascinating beaches, caves and coral formations. It’s a group of 42 islands abundant with marine resources containing many oddly shaped rocks and islands. The largest island of the group is Wua Ta Lap which is situated in the park with Thai lunch. Stay overnight at the hotel / resort in Ko Samui.
Day 2: Ko Samui – Island Tour (Guru Recommends Snorkeling at Kon Tan & Mud Sum)
After breakfast, proceed for a half day island tour of Ko Samui. This tour will cover places such as various beaches; also have a stop at the famous twin rocks the GrandFather and the GrandMother rocks located at the South end of Hat Lamai. After your island tour, while the rest of the day is free at leisure, we recommend you snorkeling at Kon Tan and Mud Sam. Take a nearby trip to the island, put a mask, snorkel and fins and then go floating above the Na-Tien coral reefs and discover the colourful fishes. Also Thai Lunch is served at the restaurant. Continue to Koh Mudsum for snorkeling, swimming and sun-bathing. Stay overnight at the hotel / resort in Ko Samui.
Day 3: Ko Samui – Bangkok (Guru Recommends Elephant Show)
After your last breakfast in Ko Samui, before you check out of the hotel, do some last minute shopping in Ko Samui which includes colourful carved soaps to chopsticks, coasters made from local coconut wood. After check-out transfer to Ko Samui Airport for your flight to Bangkok. Once you arrive at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, you will be met and transferred your hotel. While the rest of the day is free at leisure, we suggest the Elephant Theme Show (Sampran Zoo) – a show of Elephants in Thai History – being captured, trained for various jobs – including playing football, dancing and finally a grand ancient cavalry parade. This Zoo also house crocodile. Stay overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 4: Bangkok – City Tour (Guru Recommends visit to the Dream World and Snow Town along with International Dinner Cruise)
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour which covers major landmarks including fascinating temples around the capital. Visit the Golden Buddha Temple (Wat Traimit) and the Reclining Buddha Temple (Wat Po). Since the rest of the day is free at leisure, we recommend the Dream World and Snow Town – a fun place for all ages with its breathtaking rides, to the beautiful Snow Town, where one can experience the real snow. Enjoy a sumptuous International/Indian Dinner on the Chaophraya Boat, complimented with a live band and singer. Stay overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 5: Depart Bangkok (Guru Recommends Shopping)
After your last breakfast in Bangkok, before you check-out of the hotel and proceed to the airport for the return journey with wonderful memories of Thailand, we recommend you visit the sophisticated plazas of Bangkok. With a huge variety and choice of not only what to buy, bargain hunting is an engrossing experience including the simple souvenirs, handicraft or luxury items.
