Nuwara Eliya – Set in the heart of the tea country and situated at 1890 metres above sea level, the air here is cool and fresh-a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. This is Sri Lanka’s highest and most isolated plateau. Nature lovers will revel in this wide; patna grass covered plain, the haunt of many wild yet harmless animals and home of many species of birds.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Colombo and transfer to Nuwara Eliya
Welcome to Colombo! Arrive at the airport where you are met and transferred Nuwara Eliya. Tea Factory as it name implies is an old Tea factory converted to a fine piece of hotel in the hills. The view from the rooms at the front of the hotel is a wonderful panorama of tea and at its rear; a peaceful pastoral scene of hamlets, hills and forest, as well as more tea. Stay overnight at the Tea Factory.
Day 2: Nuwara Eliya (Guru Recommends Hakgala Botanical Garden)
After a scrumptious breakfast you have the option to visit to the Hakgala Botanical Garden in Nuwara Eliya, where plants and trees from around the world seen at home. Hakgala is one of the places one visits as an essential part of a pleasant journey in the famous hill resort of Nuwara Eliya. The site is legendary. Stay overnight at the Tea Factory.
Day 3: Nuwara Eliya – Colombo (Guru recommends - Hot Air Ballooning)
After breakfast gather together memories of your stay in Little England (Nuwara Eliya) and proceed to the capital city of Colombo. While the rest of your day is free at leisure, we suggest you to experience the Hot Air Ballooning. This offers a unique perspective on the countryside, drifting silently in a large basket over irrigation lakes or “tanks”, over forests etc. Stay overnight at Trans Asia in Colombo.
Day 4: Depart Colombo
After your last breakfast in Colombo, you can shop at Odel, Barefoot, and Paradise Road etc for the latest in fashion & utility. Later proceed to the Airport to board your flight back to homebound.
