Itinerary (Chennai - Pondicherry - Chennai)

Day 1: Arrival Chennai

On arrival at Chennai Airport/Railway station, meet our representative & get transferred to the hotel. This metropolis is often called the cultural capital of India for its deep-rooted traditions and long heritage. Chennai is a city younger than its image. More than any other city in India, it is a true reflection of this country’s diversity. On arrival, check into hotel. Visit Fort St. George, constructed in 1653 during the British rule in India; St. Mary's Church (the oldest Anglican Church in India); Kapaliswara Temple and Sri Parthasarathy Temple built by Pallavas in the 8th century AD. Evening relax at the Marina Beach. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Chennai – Pondicherry (165 KM / 3 Hrs)

After breakfast you will check out from hotel & transfer to Pondicherry. En route visit the beautiful Mahabalipuram, which is famous for its temple & beach. Visit the Caves, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas and the shore Temple. Continue driving to Pondicherry. On arrival, check into hotel. Evening is free to relax or take a walk on the street of Pondicherry. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Pondicherry

After breakfast proceed to explore the city, visit Aurobindo Ashram, Botanical garden, Memorial House, Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Vedapureeswarar Temple. Enjoy boating at Chunnambar backwater & the beautiful beaches of Pondicherry. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at Pondicherry.

Day 4: Pondicherry – Chennai departure

After breakfast spend the day at leisure. In afternoon, check out from hotel & get transferred to Chennai Airport for the onward journey.
