Jim Corbett National Park, one of the first wildlife reserves in India derives its name from the renowned hunter transformed into conservationist, Colonel Jim Corbett. Famous for: Corbett National Park is known for Tiger Reserve. This was one of the nine tiger reserves created in the year 1973.

Best season to visit: TVisit the Corbett National Park from 15th November- 15th June. During this period all the zones of the national park are open to visitors.

Closed: The Park is open throughout the year but during monsoons, few zones are operational while others are not.
