Itinerary (Paro Thimpu Wangdiphodrang - Paro)
Day 1: Arrive in Paro
Meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: In Paro
Morning you go for a Full-day visit to Drugyal Dzong, enroute viewing Mt. Jhomolhari (alt.7320 mt). Visit National Museum. If time permits, visit/hike to Taktsang Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Paro / Thimpu
Morning you proceed to Thimphu by surface approx. 65 km / 2 hrs. En route visit Simtokha Dzong. On arrival in Thimphu, check-in to the hotel. Afternoon you visit to the National Library, School of Arts & Crafts (former Painting School between 2 / 4 p.m.), Memorial Shorten and leisure in Thimphu town. Evening - Visit to Tashichhodzong. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: In Thimpu
Full day visit the Thimphu Valley from BBS Tower, Mini Zoo, Anim Dratshang (nunnery), Zangthopelri Lhakhang, and Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Thimpu Punakha Wangdiphodrang
Morning you depart for Wangdiphodrang visiting Punakha en route (70kms / 3 hrs, (alt. 3150 Mts.). En route visit the Dochula Pass, Punakha Dzong. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Wangdiphodrang - Paro
Morning: Depart for Paro by surface approx. 140 kms / 5 hrs. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon you go for a stroll in Paro town. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Depart Paro
Morning: Transfer to the airport for return flight.
