Located in the north eastern part of Kerala, Wayanad is most known for the rock caves and it’s hills, along with the wildlife sanctuary that houses a wide range of flora and fauna.
Itinerary (Mysore - Coorg - Wayanad)
Day 1: Arrive Bangalore-Mysore
Arrival at Bangalore at proceed to Mysore (150 kms/4 hrs). On arrival, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, proceed on a city tour of Mysore, visiting the magnificent Maharaja's Palace, Chamundi Hills and the Art Gallery which houses a fine collection of paintings and musical instruments. In the evening, you may take an optional tour of the beautiful Vrindavan Gardens. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Mysore-Coorg
In the morning, proceed to Coorg (120 kms/2.5 hrs). Coorg is a virtual paradise on earth crowned with glorious mist cloaked hills and graced with coffee plantations. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Coorg
Spend the day at leisure exploring this stunning hill retreat. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Coorg-Wayanad
Transfer to Wayanad, home to exotic legends and ancient mysterious mountain caves, jungle trails and exotic wildlife. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 5: Wayanad
In the morning, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Wayanad, visiting the Chain Tree, Neelimala View Point, Sultan Battery, Jain Temple and Edakkal Caves. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Wayanad-Calicut
Transfer to Calicut (Kozhikode) airport/railway station (65 kms/2.5 hrs) for overnight travel.
