The only advantage is perfect location for Velankanni Tech Park and Phase I of Electronics City in Bangalore. Rooms are average, can be cleaner. Property needs upkeep and refurbishing. No food facility within the apartments. Several hotels nearby. Stay here if you are choosy about the location. Otherwise look for other alternatives.

I had stayed in amethyst for 4 days...This serviced apartments truly lived up to my expectations!!! The service is excellent and the staff are friendly... the best part of my stay here is the location, it is just a hop skip and a jump away from the bus stop/auto rickshaw stand and good eateries too. My family and i felt completely at HOME bcoz it is indeed home away from home. The kitchen is well equipped with all amenities... One of the best places ive stayed at in Bangalore E-City!!! Ohhh and WiFi is free round the clock... Good security for family stay! All the best Amethyst.

I work with a training company and visit Wipro in Electronic city every other month. I've stayed at two of the Amethyst properties - Amethyst Apartments and Amethyst central and prefer the latter. Both offer decent accommodation, clean sheets and washrooms. Wifi Internet is free, food is tasty but u'll need to order it with the caretaker well in advance.. the amethyst apartments is off the main road unlike the central.. So be sure to collect the auto guys number from the caretaker., the rooms are functional... Comfortable Spring mattress at central at the apartment it was a regular kurlon, a work table, hot water, tv and some apartments have microwave and fridge. Sadly breakfast is not complementary but food is not expensive breakfast was 50. Veg dinner 80. Overall not a bad deal for the price.

I had the worst experience with Amythist serviced apartments Bangalore. What you see in the website is not what they offer. Dirty bathrooms, smelly rooms, unwashed vessels in the sink, unprofessional staff with behaviourial problems..over charge is what you get! The person answering the phone will not be present to receive you, instead some unprofessional, unqualified people will treat you very badly...I checked out in few hours of checking in. But had to still pay.

There's nothing special about Amethyst service apartments - but don't get me wrong - for the price you pay you'll find it hard to discover another place that can beat Amethyst. Even though the location leaves much to be desired the service offered to us was pretty good. They had provided us a servant who would cook meals for us and clean the rooms and dishes etc. Also, they had free wi-fi internet which was welcome. We stayed in a non a/c room and it became quite warm at night due to lack of good ventilation. And please don't forget to bring a mosquito repellent along with you!
