Lush green estate Lush green estate

by DMsai on January 27, 2019

Visited this place after reading lot of good reviews about this place. As we entered we could see the beautiful estate welcoming us with fresh breeze and greenery around you. The estate is beautiful and the cottages are located in the midst of the estate and that gives you complete stay with the nature around you. The place we stayed was in rocks and pebbles and both the rooms were clean and bathroom as well were clean. Owner was busy with the golf tournament, however next morning he ensured he met us all and showed us the bounglow and explained about few plants and trees around. He even asked about our plan and suggested few places. I appreciate the fact he called the day we reached homestay and asked about guests which is a good gesture. About food it was good. Best part was since we were going out in afternoon they packed lunch bag for all of us and that was another thing that I liked and food packed was puliogre and curd rice and trust me it was yummmmm. I totally loved it. They had prepared some savige idli type (not sure what's it called ) with gasgase paisam. It was yummmmm . Pakoda was also good and you must try the coffee wine ...I totally loved it and wanted to buy but forgot while leaving for the day. It tastes really good. Dilip and Santosh are very good and they help you in all possible way. You will also like the camp fire place Well...I liked my stay but would like to see few improvement as mentioned below : 1. Hot water in sink and shower 2. Change the shower plz 3. Improve the blankets Rest everything is good and am sure other cottages are beautiful and worth staying.

Cherished memories and experiences Cherished memories and experiences

The place is located amidst lush, green nature, bounded by majestic mountains. The homestay is more like a resort with thoughtful decorations, artifacts, and objects dispersed throughout the property. The owner is friendly and thoughtful, thinking of ways to make your trip better. Most of the food on the table is made in their gardens, and it is reflected in the freshness and taste of the dishes. If you are an animal lover also, there is place for you with some cats, dogs, chickens, cows in their respective areas. We had a wonderful time there.

Yoga and nature retreat Yoga and nature retreat

by SalomiS14 on January 3, 2019

We went for a yoga and nature retreat to coffee bean homestay and we had the most memorable time. Surrounded by verdant woods and acres of coffee plantation we experienced nature at it's best with an experience of coffee. Both Nishchit and Ruchika are beautiful people but the little man who stole our heart was their 6 month old Ridhav. (With his cherubic smile, innocent laughter and friendly attitude). We tasted coffee liquor, better leaf liquor; did coffee picking, hiked to Serene and scenic places and bathed in the waterfall. The estate is very well maintained, cottages clean and garden is nicely green with lots of flowers. We enjoyed the authentic malnad cuisine especially the breakfast. The trek which Nishchit took us to was challenging yet super fun and we all got a sense of accomplishment after that. Would recommend this place to everyone, specially dog lovers.. they have 4-5 dogs on the premises all of whom are friendly. Their staff to is very helpful and cooperative. All in all, a wonderful experience...!!

Don't think twice before booking this place because of following reasons. You will never regret the choice. Rechability: Drove from Bangalore to Mullandur (location of the home stay). Roads are awesome without any potholes. You can make 300 KM's in 5 hours without breaks. Location: Far from hustle and bustle of city. Very close to nature. Close to Muthodi Wildlife sanctuary (12 KM's). Property: Very well maintained. Rooms are super good. Renovated 100 year old property which has all the ancestral things preserved. Best thing no mobile signal in the rooms (you will get signal once you come out of the rooms). Hospitality: Hospitality at its best. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars for their hospitality. Manager, Dileep and his support staff Santosh and don't remember names of others. They are super awesome. Very helpful. The family that owns this place stays here. They are very good people. Food: Another 6 star. Just loved it. What can I say more. Price: Definitely worth every rupee.
