We visited this property in Nov 2017......stayed here for one night though I had booked 3 nights reading the previous reviews..... Firstly the Pros: Warm hosts. Harish and Myna are very helpful and warm and genuinely try their best to make you comfortable. Food: they serve good home made food.....Myna seems to be a good cook. No complaints. The View: a lovely view of the coffee estate from the common area and the windows. Coming to the Cons: the biggest setback of this homestay is the room itself....firstly its small....which is still ok.....but the room decor is below average.....we were welcomed by old bedsheets and the bathroom was not clean.....we could see harpic and a plastic broom in one corner of the bathroom. The next thing that put me off was the insects that crept into our room in the night since the house is located in a coffee estate. We have stayed in a lot of good homestays before and I can say that this place needs a lot of improvement. They need to completely change the room decor and think "elegance"....also I feel its a property more suitable for bachelors as all the rooms are too close to each other and hence lack privacy. Definitely not meant for families who are accustomed to decent or above average hospitality.
