Quaint homestay near Madikeri. We visited in September. Easy to reach, host picks you up at the main turn. Very warm and helpful host. Nishant owns the place, and has done a great job to maintain it. He suggested us places to visit and buy coffee from. The homestay itself is very beautiful. Room was clean and big. It could accommodate 4 people. The washroom was as clean. There was warm lighting in the room. The host’s home is in the same campus. Breakfast is included. Front yard has chikoo, sweet lime and other trees. There’s a small pond in the front. The views from outside the room are mesmerising. Birds sing to you early in the morning. They also own a coffee plantation farm in their backyard. The host gives a tour of the same and explains about coffee and pepper. Fun fact- we spotted a tortoise crossing the road just outside the homestay.

Best place for family staycation. Best lake view room with homely food. Nishant is a very friendly host.

I visited this place with my family. The stay is nested among a valley which is surrounded by lush green trees and coffee estates. The place is very peaceful and perfect for a gateway from the city life. The owner of the homestay Mr. Nishanth is a great human to talk with and is very humble. Walking in the estates was a great experience! The area of the stay is super neat and clean and rooms were very comfortable and clean. Food was homely and very tasty. Great hospitality! Will definitely recommend this place for stay.

The rooms are pretty good and comfortable. The area is quite and surrounded by amazing natural scenery. It's bit out of rush main city area of and also not so far from tourist places.

This Home Stay is around 5 to 8 km from madikeri Town. The owner of the Homestay, Mr. Nishant helped us in all aspects and made sure that we reached location correctly by accompanying us from the highway. Coming to the atmosphere and environment, it was totally a bliss to stay at Green Glade. We went with elderly parents and 2 toddlers. All of us really enjoyed the stay amidst the lush green coffee plantations. The estate was close to 100 years old and even the home stay was of British Era. The owner of the home stay gave a plantation tour explaining different types of coffee plants and pepper. Apart from coffee and pepper, the homestay has different flora and fauna such as Brazillian Cherry, Chiku, Mausambi, Orange and Avacado were few of many. They have a cook available and we need to order the food couple of hours before and food was really nice. I would recommend this home stay if you are planning to visit Coorg anytime.
