Continuing my reviews from So we had a long drive to Calangute and were dead tired by the time we reach the hotel at around 11. The hotel is located inside a narrow lane and we were grateful to Google maps for locating this hotel. There is hardly any parking mainly owing to peak season in Goa around the new year. We quickly checked in and occupied our Super Deluxe AC room. One of the walls had some weird stain which was really ugly. We wanted to get fresh quickly but there was no hot water available. We called the room service and waited for another 40 min for the hot water but in vain. This frustrated us and we slept without getting fresh as were dead tired. In the morning, the hot water was available and we quickly took shower and headed for our complimentary breakfast. It had a very limited menu and surprisingly it did not have a toaster for the breads. We could not get any Jain food as well. Also, the plastic spoon and fork instead of steel did not impress me at all. We paid a premium for this room due to peak season which we hardly used. Still we did not feel the room was worth for that price.

My Self Captain Balram Goswami based in Kolkata and iam an Hotelier. I was in GOA for Indian Army Reunion and Delta Residency was pre-booked for the Event. Check in was on 8th Nov19 and Check Out was on 10th Nov19 and we are 20 people. My experience with Delta Residency situated in Gauro Vaddo 151/20 Street near St Anthonys Chapel Beach Road, Calangute, GOA -403516 is THE WORST. Being a MD of Chain hotels I was willing to talk to the Owner hoping that the Owner will solve our issues and serve us with better intend. Mr.Gupta happens to be the Owner of Delta Residency. Mr.Gupta (Owner-Delta Residency) was drunk most of the time and abused us for no reason on the penultimate day. He stopped the DJ at around 10 PM and started manhandling my friends and was using unparliamentarily language in front of kids and ladies. He charges corkage on bottles which were even consumed in the room. The quality of food was pathetic and at times we could not consume the ordered food as it was uneatable. We called for tea many times, however Hotel did not served it even after waiting for more than one hour. The behavior of staff was unbearable as they all were copying their Owner Mr.Gupta who was not ready to listen to us as we paid every in advance. The quality of housekeeping and service in particular was beyond imagination and in spite of repeated request they refuse to provide toiletries and mineral water as per room occupancy. There were limited option in Breakfast which was bland and tasteless, the omelette served was all burnt. Six of us got deep cut while using their pool which wasnt maintained and even after informing Hotel staff, they were unapologetic about the entire situation and they did not even had the basic first aid tool. We ordered once for Alacarte lunch and ordered for King Fish, they made us wait for over 90 mins and served us Basha fish and the preparation was tasteless. I and all my friends served in Army for many years and across the world we always treated with respect and pride, but being ex-army officers if we are treated like this then what is happening to other tourists any one can imagine. The overall experience at the Hotel was like a nightmare and I would like to rate it in minus. This Hotel should be immediately taken off from OTAs and should be blacklisted for cheating. We had a beautiful stay here. Just minutes away from Calangute Beach & situated in a Family neighborhood. All was superb; right from rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast spread, lip smacking goan delicacy. Will surely visit again. Good value for money.

Truly a marvellous place to stay. The rooms are sparking clean and very spacious. A aesthetically build bar which has everything you want. Loved the swimming pool which also has bar inside. The staff is excellent, caring and very helpful. All outdoor activities and cars were booked instantly with reasonable rates. The beach is at short walking distance from resort. Food is very tasty and a lot of variety. The place is awesome.

Absolutely beautiful peaceful place. The surroundings and staff were amazing. For anyone thats wants to be out of the huddle and bussel, I fully recommend this place. Although you are only 10min from Calangute Beach it makes it all the better. Thankyou for everything up you do. The staff go above and beyond. Very friendly and helpful.
