I am not one for moaning but this hotel is defiantly one to avoid at all costs. I'm not a fussy person and have stayed in many low budget places. Firstly, the women who runs the place is so rude and makes you scared to ask for anything even though I was very polite. The rooms are very basic, unclean and crawling with insects. There is no fridge or kettle unless you want to hire them for two pound each per day. There is one very thin sheet one the bed and believe it or not it can get chilly in the early hours. During tje two weeks stayed the room never cleaned, never changed the sheets or gave clean towels and when you politely ask for them to be changed your ignored and this is no way to run a business. Avoid breakfast at all costs and just go to the beach front restaurant named palm n sands. There is costs 3 for the works and good. I would never stay here again and there are so many better low budget places in Goa you can stay at. Only good thing was that it's a 2 minute walk to beach but your a long walk away from bars/restaurants. Plus Goa is not a cheap destination to eat or drink anymore so take plenty of money.

The photos look lovely, but dont let this mislead you,the rooms were dirty old and aged, the hostess was very hostile no words apart from passports please. Asked for a blanket and got told they charge extra for one! So didnt bother kept warm with towels.Building work going on loud and obtrusive early morningBreakfast consisted of 2 slices of toast with jam and butter and 1 small teapot of tea(a cupful each) sciccors to cut the jam open with where filthy ence the reason why the napkins was full of ants.Give this place a miss.

nice experience.Value for money... an outstanding place to stay in Goa, is at a 2 minute walking distance from the Sinquerim beach. Good Ambience, gracious staff, maintain good hygiene and to top it excellent service.

This hotel was too basic. You can get so much better for your money in Goa. The staff were friendly (not the manager). My bed sheets were stained at one point. This place was probably charming at some point but that's clearly gone. I would not recommend this place and don't believe even for those looking for basic should consider

Many hotels and resorts in Goa especially in Calangute, Candolim claim to be beach resort even through they are located far away from beach. But melodious waves is truly beach resort as beach is 2-3 min walk away from beach. If you are planning to spend more time out than in hotel, this is more suitable and also it is not that heavy on your pocket. Proximity to beach is a big value add. Also walking distance from main road where most of restaurants, jewellary and other shops are located. Had booked a AC room and room was spacious as we were 3 of us and facilities were basic. Room had 2 sit outs but there was no TV. Room, bathroom were clean and tidy, Complementary breakfast served was not sufficient since it included only 2 slices of bread, butter, Jam and coffe/tea. Variety of egg dishes are available for breakfast. Restaurent guys are very humble and courteous. There are 2 routes to go to beach from this hotel. one through a restaurent called "palms and sand" and the other one through a narrow lane. During evenings, entrance from palms and sands will be convenient but it is allowed only for restaurent customers. The narrow lane is safe (through there are stray dogs), well lit with street lights. In summary: quiet location, away from hustle, bustle, very near to beach and basic facilities.
