We had booked a studio here for three nights and when we arrived they told us that they were fully booked and didnt have a room for us. No apology, no anything. They didnt take any responsibility or accountability at all and were SO rude and condesending. They blamed it on that they usually have bookings with people who dont show up and therefore overbook their place to make sure they have customers = they are knowingly scamming people. We booked a studio there and she also told us that they didnt even have studios so once again are they scamming people!!! By showing us to another hotel (where we had to pay a more expensive price since breakfast was not included anymore) she thought she made up for everything?! Disgusting behaviour. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED.

We booked thr guesthouse with and when we arrived they had no free room and they took us to another place with no shower and no water and wanted 2000 rupies for that... the next day we met a couple and they had the same problem. The receprionist told us that we can check in at 12 am and we arrived at that time and had to wait 2 hours for the room that we booked already for the day before... rooms with no mosquito nets, poisond animals in bathroom.. and you hear every breathtake grom the neighbours, it was so loud all the time... the internet was broken all the time. And after two days they said that we habe to pay much more for the room... we told them tahat we dont pay more and the reseptionist told us to speak with the boss and that the boss will knock on our door... but he didnt.... the badest huesthouse we ever been

We booked two cottages through 6 weeks ahead of our Christmas stay, and had an email from the management a few days before check-in asking what time we would arrive (which was midday). When we arrived, the management claimed that Rudra Cottages as they were on was an old account that should have been closed and therefore they could not honour our booking. This was a lie because a) they had emailed us, b) the account was getting reviews on Booking only a few days before and c) they were contacting us from the Rudra Holidays email address. Because it was December 23rd, all other hotels in the area were either full or very poor quality compared to what we booked, and they showed us a number of unsatisfactory options. Above all, they maintained the lie that they had no responsibility for the Rudra Cottages account even in the face of compelling evidence. We even heard another guest having to go through the same thing! Booking.coms response was excellent, but only stated that the management had overbooked and did not address the fact that they are running two accounts and also lying to guests which is a shame on their part. After my travelling partner wrote a review on Google, they responded saying that we tried to check in late at night and so our room had been given away (which would be bad business etiquette anyway) and fabricated a number of lies to defend themselves which is appalling! The entire attitude of the staff was completely dreadful, no apology and in fact very little surprise or remorse - they acted like it was pretty standard - and previous trip advisor reviews mention that they have claimed to change their name before and pulled a similar trick. Avoid this dishonest business at all costs.

Had a good exchange with Geet prior to my arrival who even arrange a airport pickup. Things seemed to go smooth. I get thre and the place seemed nice enough. Next morning, the sequence of disappointment started. The "breakfast" included was somehow a joke. It almost seemed that they were doing us a favor I had to ask many times for it, and even though I didn't expect a menu or such the attitude towards my expectation was def uncomfortable. Noticing that the rate was a third of what I had booked ir for when I arrived there, they showed no flexibility in negotiating, even though there were doing all these different prices, right there, in front of me. Oh, be careful not to miss that whatever you are seeing on, doesn't include the taxes, meaning, what you pay is def more, specially if you choose a credit card(2.5%). Internet often down, roaches, and a big rat roaming on the top of my side wall(it's a hut so no real ceilings, which btw made for very noise nights since there is a very popular club next to ir. Conceptually this place could be a gem... it has a nice seating area in the middle of it, great to relax, read, eat and hag out. The huts look very nice with great varanda and rustically decorated. But clearly they are missing out on costumer service, and worse, on delivering the minimum for a pleasant experience. My five stars here goes to the boy that worked cleaning and serving breakfast, always sweet, kind and caring a great smile...very comforting in contrast with the rest.

A very quiet and peaceful guesthouse ideally located a bit off the busy street of Arambol beach but still very closed the beach. The setting is ideal as a bit in the jungle, where we can enjoy a nice breeze from the trees (and occasionally some very nice homemade chutney from the fresh mangos falling in the garden). The hutts are outstanding, well designed, very clean with a comfortable bed and all facilities you need! The staff is absolutely amazing, very decent, respectful, helpful and paying attention that every guest is comfortable and happy. I would say the best value for money and a great place to stay for those who likes nature, and a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Thanks to all the staff to make my stay as wonderful!
