Sun , sand and SOUL Sun , sand and SOUL

A boutique place in perhaps the best location in Candolim with quaint comfortable rooms and warm interiors with a feel of Goa with the beach barely 7 minutes away . I loved it . Travelled alone and yet was never lonely . Fisherman's Cove eatery across the road was always active with music and people . The multifunctional cafe in Sol Areia was cute and appropriate - great music during breakfast and a melange of cross culture during dinner . Manish and his merry men did all that was required ...and more . Sol Areia is a good option when you wish to be living without frills and fancy . It is neat , soothing and very homely . It has stories ... and people who made a big difference . I left refreshed and grateful.

Worth Every penny! Worth Every penny!

Loved the ambience here. Very well maintained. Lovely interiors all over the hotel. The staff were friendly too. The bar downstairs was very affordable and good view of the main road. Overall good service and great place to stay at. Close to the candolim Beach too . Will come back here again.

We stayed here over the Christmas period. The room we had was 206 and was absolutely beautiful, a bit of luxury in Goa. It was huge with a lovely king size bed, a lounge area, plenty of storage and a high spec shower room. My other half was chuffed as there was actually hot running water to the sink for a shave :-) The staff in general were great very friendly and helpful, just a little point, some of the reception staff could make more of an effort to be helpful and friendly, not all of them just some. The breakfast was decent, and the guys really did seem to care that you were enjoying it. A MUST - The Tandoori Leg of Lamb - Its amazing.......... a real treat. Highly recommended.

Good location in busy main street next to shops and restaurants, five minutes walk from beach. Friendly staff, clean rooms and good bathrooms. Some of the rooms on the ground floor do not have any windows and can get warm if air-con is not working. Breakfast is limited but for about an extra pound can be topped up to be quite filling. Would stay there again but not on ground floor.

Stayed one month and so pleased have booked again for next year. Small hotel on main street with restaurant and bar good food. We stayed bed and breakfast which is more than ample. But our real joy was the staff and cleanliness of the premises our room boy Sam a gem, linen spotless clean towels daily toiletries included, flat screen TV with most sat channels, bottle water daily. There is no pool or gardens not a downside for us as we use beach. This is the first time in 18 years that I have rebooked the same hotel that will tell you something,as already said staff from manager to cleaners superb
