comfortable room and lovely garden comfortable room and lovely garden

by Izabelka001 on

we had stayed for 5 days, room was nice, clean, with tv set. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom ok, with new equipment. Big terrace, lovely garden. Staff very helpful, friendly and discreet. Good wi-fi. Next to the restaurant, u can order breakfast to the room. It's a little far to the beach and main road but close to Anjuna Flea Market (wednesday) and shops.

Worst Place for Family. IT IS HELL. Worst Place for Family. IT IS HELL.

Not safe place for family. They will serve you staled food. I was forced to pay twice though I paid online. It is far from beach and isolated no near by hotels for food. Since it is far, cabs charge you like anything. AVOID THIS PLACE, IT IS HELL.

Could be much better for the price Could be much better for the price

We had stayed in the banyan soul hotel next door for four nights but unfortunately needed elsewhere to stay as they had a large booking. We booked zenobia and knew it was fairly pricey, however we'd eaten at the bakery so took a risk. Room was dirty. Wi fi sporadically did not work. Curtains did not close properly. Room was not cleaned at all over the three days we visited . Bed as hard as nails!! We've stayed in several Indian hotels and the bed was very uncomfortable. Also on the website it says breakfast included THE OWNER HAD THE CHEEK TO SAY THIS IS WRONG SO WE WERE NOT ENTITLED TO THE BREAKFAST. APPALLING GO ELSEWHERE

Although the taxi driver had difficultly finding Zenobia Leisure, just ask directions for the German Bakery (which is well known by everybody) and the accommodation is behind it. I was immediately pleased with my decision to stay there. The gardens were the first thing I noticed and it set the tone for my whole visit - they are beautiful. It was very quiet, in fact I was the only person staying there, so I literally could chose my room. The owner's daughter was very hospitable and friendly. I enjoyed chatting to her in the evening and learning about the place and how it came to be theirs. The rooms are large, cool and clean. All rooms have a private balcony, but I found it nicer to sit on the furniture outside my room to read a book overlooking the garden. The newly renovated bathrooms are huge and very clean and modern. Wifi was good and the rooms all have satellite TV, a fridge and air con. The power did go out every now and again, but that is just part of the experience in Goa. At the front is the German Bakery which has a lovely vibe. I spent many hours sitting there people-watching and sipping freshly squeezed fruit juices. You can also have food delivered to your door from the German Bakery as room service. From Zenobia it is a decent walk to the beach, but I like to explore new places and enjoyed the walk. However, it was incredibly hot, so not only did I stop for fresh coconut juice, but I also managed to hire someone to take me back on his motorbike. I highly recommend Zenobia for those who want a quiet, relaxing place to stay in Anjuna, with an excellent restaurant attached. My only comment is that I was travelling solo and although it's a friendly hippy crowd in Anjuna, it's quite a bit older than other parts of Goa, so I moved on to find a younger crowd.
