Kanthalloor is known for its wide variety of crops which is not seen on the other parts of Kerala, which includes varieties of tropical crops. Situated at a height of 5000 ft above sea level, it provides the cool climate for the natural farming of fruits .Our thirteen members team stayed in western mist holiday home on 23rd October. We had chosen 2 bedroom duplex cottages. It is newly built cottages. Good location .Rooms is spacious and neat but bathrooms are small. Very good place for bachelors who want chill out their weekends .All our team are impressed with the homely food. Verity is limited but taste is superb.

Western Mist is perfect getaway from hassle bustle city life.... its peace everywhere around this place. Rooms are very neat and newly built. It provides very comfortable stay and has scenic beauty around it. Food provided at the home stay is basic but it tastes yummy. There is no nearby restaurant but we can completely trust their preparation and you are left with no other options too. All in all this is prefect getaway from tension and busy life. I'm planning to visit this place again in September.

An amazing place to relax with your family.. Completely out of the sound and pollution. We did a weekend trip and reached the destination from Kottayam in just 5 hours. If you choose to opt the other routes, you may not have a good driving experience.The staffs over there is very friendly and always ready to help you. Overall its a good place to relax and a good weekend gateway to enjoy the nature
