Perfect room,location and Service
by Mrschax on
My husband and I were on a road trip from Dehradun to Mumbai, Jaipur was a day stop for us driving in from Delhi. It was a 4 hour drive in total, we found Prem Abhilasha conveniently on Google Maps. Once we arrived Inderjeet, helped park our car and immediately showed us our room which was warm, cozy, clean and had a beautiful flower decorated pathway/stairway, The room was spacious and definitely had a Rajasthani touch which was always gets tourists like me excited. The bathroom was clean and hot water with clean towels. Inderjeet was kind enough to get Tea which my husband and I sipped enjoyed the peacefulness of the neighbourhood.
The best part about Prem abhilasha after the service and place itself was the location, everthing was a stones throw away - LMB,Haandi, Jhori Bazzar we were able to cover that night and next day morning for breakfast. The owners were beyond lovely with helpful suggestions for our onward trip to Udaipur and also helped with staying arrangements out there.
This place highly recommended.

We were quite disappointed with our stay at Prem Abhilasha after reading the reviews on here.
Positives: quiet street, pleasant garden and terrace, clean.
Negatives: strangely indifferent owner - quite abrupt on occasions (his wife however seemed pleasant), food seemed difficult to come by - nothing was explained and we weren't sure who to speak to or what the protocol was, very difficult to get an internet connection which was needed for onward journey plans etc, no hot water at all, not particularly welcoming (which is unusual in India).
nicely decorated, clean room, lovely family and excellent food

I stayed here for two weeks while visitng india. This home is close enough to markets, and "pink city". Its quiet, nicely maintained, and a family that will help with suggestions for places to visit in Jaipur. They have very nice staff working there, and your bed is made daily, and changed every other day if you want. Fresh towels, hot water, newspaper, wi-fi, and lots of bottled water always at hand. This family was very pleasant to be around, and i always felt comfortable. I ate my breakfasts here every morning, and had dinner most days as well. Menu had a excellent variety (and for budget conscious travellers the price was right). Food was always fresh and made with love.
They also had a car company that would come and they were readily available. Abdul Hakim, took me around the city of a couple of occasions. He was reliable, knew his way around the city, and his recommendations for places to go where always interesting. I felt safe with his driving, and he was a nice man to travel with. Had interesting facts to tell, and introduced me to other attractions that were off the beaten track. I was looking for some non -tourist things to do as well and Abdul understood this, and made some great recommendations.
Between the guesthome and travel arangements, I would recommend these places highly, to women travelling solo, and on a budget.
thanks to my Prem Abhilasha family (Panjat and Usha) and Abdul (driver)....

When you arrive, its a little bit strange. Is a family home,
The guy who serves the people is very friendly, and does not speak English. Have a little garden, is very good. is a bit far from the downtown.

Top home stay in quiet residential area of Jaipur. Detached family home in beautiful garden. Immaculately clean, big room. Home-made fresh and delicious food with excellent service. 3 minutes rickshaw ride to city gates. We loved or stay at Prem, highly recommended.
