Inexpensive option in a great location Inexpensive option in a great location

I stayed here 2 nights in February. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was delicious. There is a nice terrace where you can eat, a bit of an oasis. The rooms are fairly basic, and there were issues with sufficient amounts of hot water, but for the price it is not bad.

We stayed there as a family of four in two rooms on the first floor. The rooms are nice and big and clean. The linen is clean although it is old. The towels, however need immediate replacement. They are old and discoloured. The bathrooms are big and maintained well. There seems to be a water problem as on two days the water was BLACK. I had to remove about 8 or nine buckets of water before it became clear enough to bathe with. As a result the toilet bowl is stained. It should be given a thorough scrub everyday by the housekeeping staff. The breakfast is the bare minimum. I would advise eating boiled eggs and toast. Everything else has a peculiar smell. The inn is located very centrally. There is the Forum Mall close by. Nice places to eat close by. Not very far from Park Street.

Its a nice option with a very good location close to the forum mall. Its right in the heart of the city and is a nice option if you want to get anywhere. Overall would recommend it if you are on a budget.

I had booking in another hotel, but had to move to this hotel because of last minute changes. It's on first floor of a residential building. The reception area gives you a good feeling about the hotel. You will face the reality soon. Checkin was quick. Went to the room, which was pre cooled. Had to stay just for a night. Now below are the points which make me concerned 1. Complimentary bottle of water was not sealed. On enquiry I was told they provide purified water. It tasted strange. I later went down and bought my own water. 2. Internet is provided complimentary for one hou for each booked night. With due respect to hotel rules, I must say that is ridiculous. For the amount paid, WiFi can be provided gratis. 3. The hotel has fixed checkout time. I checked in at night and had to stay till 2 pm next day. They declined my request to slightly overstay. If I stay beyond12pm, I am supposed to pay for next day. I checked out at 12pm. The hotel has facility of dining in cabin. A menu with reasonable rates was there. I did not try it however. Breakfast is complimentary, served in room. It was OK Only good thing is its in centre of city, with everything within quick reach. Even my office was close by. In short, nothing special about this hotel. Just serves the purpose. The shortcomings I observed can be easily taken care of by the management. I would avoid going there again.

Demo Trip Some rooms are right next to the public washroom and start smelling if the washroom door is left open. Ask for rooms away from the washroom.
