Ideal for group stay- friends or family. Location is good for a quiet and peaceful vacation but a little away from the market so plan your trip accordingly. Facilities like clean bedsheets and towels are a issue but if your care taker is good he/she can take care of such small items. Food cooked is also good.

The house was neat and clean on arrival. Decent interiors and working washrooms. Value for money in true sense.The caretaker was really courteous. The best part was the open terrace and a swing on the terrace.

We were given one of the bungalow (Felix) on rent by "29 bungalows" managing various vacation rentals. To their credit, location is good. Bungalow is big and common sitting area (living room) is big for the group of 15 to be able to sit and chat. That is a plus. Unfortunately, that's the only plus. Bedrooms: Unclean linen, poor quality extra mattresses in the bedroom, unclean pillow covers, not enough blankets, Toilets: one missing lock, one toilet flush not functioning, one toilet water hose broken, no bath towels, a small soap in each bathroom - which was expected to service about 4 pax Caretaker: someone who couldn't help us when we reported problems to him, seemed like someone who can't be considered as a responsible individual there. Thankfully, we were advised in advance about need to hire a catering service and were also provided with options. Good food made our stay for 2 nights better and bearable. But this can't be credited to the owners as caterer is a third party. Incidently, caterer mentioned to us that bungalow doesn't have basic utensils and they need to get everything from caterer's place. So on the whole, this particular property is a huge disappointment for the money they charge. I don't want to generalise my comments for their other properties as we haven't visited them and after this experience, I am certain that we will not.

Please do not booked by seeing the picture because actual image when you stay is totally different as their is no maintance done by the owner and light issue is very bigger AND FOOD SERVICE IS VERY BAD SO WITH FAMILY WE SUFFER LOT AND WHEN WE COMPLETE THE CARETAKER HE REPLY THE OWNER DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM SO IT WAS A CHEAT WITH OUR MONEY

So we booked this bungalow for our office trip with 29Bungalows for 15 people. The overall booking process is pretty simple and straight forward. The staff that you interact with is also very helpful. The Bungalow is beautiful, nicely maintained including the pool which is decent for upto 15 people, around 4ft deep. There is no cooking option within the bungalow but there is kitchen with staff right below where the food is cooked and is tasty too. Now, some issues we faced 1. The bungalow is very good, but it needs a big fan in the living room as there is no AC here. Somehow they've missed this thinking it's Lonavala where it doesn't get too hot, well they need to rethink 2. Toiletries and towels - almost all bungalows I've stayed with and booked in the past provide with these by default. We had to ask here and were strictly provided with 3 soaps and 3 towels for each room. Wasn't sure how they expected 3 towels to be sufficient for a booking of 15 people 3. Initially we were told that food can be served in the bungalow, later the caretaker denied. After I called the office and informed them about this, they agreed to what the caretaker said and simply apologized for the error in communication someone in their team had made when I had enquired about this initially. Not sure what happened later though as they served food in the bungalow 4. The caretaker was very weird, at times helpful and at times just not willing to take up responsibility 5. The next morning, we woke up to the most horrific experience. There was no water! The caretaker kept saying that he had pumped water to the tank on the top but what he failed to check was if there was any water in the underground tank. It was dry. We woke him up at 6am and the tanker only came at 9am. He couldn't provide any alternative. We suggested filling buckets from the pool and using them in the toilet and that too he only provided 3 buckets, rest we had to fetch ourselves. So not helpful! 6. Received a call back from their office at around 10:30 and after explaining them the horrific experience, they didn't even bother to apologize or give a courtesy call to check on us later On top, the caretaker had the odacity to ask for a tip while we were leaving. I ended up still tipping him coz the rest of the staff was really good and had done a good job Overall, the bungalow is nice, the kitchen staff is very helpful and good. Caretaker needs to be better and certainly the customer service team at 29bungalow need to work hard
