Food to die for!

If you want some warm traditional Kodagu hospitality and some amazing Kodagu food look not further! Four friends visited Mitra back in January because we had heard that the food was good and were weren't disappointed. It was much more than 'good'. Meghna, who cooked for us, was an amazing chef (even the member of our travelling group, who is VERY picky, came away from dinner praising every dish!) Sadly we only stayed for one night, but I would have loved to stay for longer. Rooms are simple - this is a B&B, so don't expect luxury - but very comfortable and absolutely enormous. Best bit about the property is the veranda, where I could have sat all day and just watched the coffee grow and listened to the birds singing!
