My honest opinion is not to book this homestay for a family.
One house ,they will put 4 families. Very small rooms with No proper ventilation .
No big place around the house.
We were so much disappointed that we spent 2 whole days outside. Just came in to sleep.
We stayed as a family (12 members) for a day at Mitra Homestay. The postivies are that rooms were clean & care taker was friendly.
The negatives are
1. One of the rooms had a mushy smelling & there was no room freshner to remove the smell.
2. No hot water available in all the rooms though it was mentioned it will be available from 7AM to 11AM. We had to carry hot water from caretaker bathroom to our rooms. 3. One of the rooms didn't have mosquito repellent and the care taker couldn't provide one when asked.
3. Breakfast was very basic with only Idli and Bread (with Jam) was served.
The stay is not value for the money spent.
Really nice place to stay and enjoyed the night at forest..if i go next time i will stay there, its like our home no disturb
Tranquil, serene, remote and detached from the regular busty life, we enjoyed the most the clumsy coffee estate, paddy fields, muddy tracks accompanied by cloudy weather and so on...really charming and a quick break from hasty daily life.
Real thanks to you Megha and your hospitality, specially for the crunchy fish fry !! :)
First a big thanks to Meghna and her team for taking so good care of all of us.The stay was absolutely delightful. Rekhaji was a perfect hostess who was always smiling and took care of all our needs. The food was yummy. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience and your friendly dog. Thanks once again and keep up the good work.
Thanks and Regards
