Basic room with the necessities. Bathroom was a little dangerous as water would flood entire floor and make it extremely slippery. However, staff virtually invisible and when you want assistance you literally have to shout to get someone, who, with the exception of the younger lady, were all quite unfriendly. The cost of 800 rupees for Air Conditioning is simply unfair and a little greedy. Air Con for a couple of hours for 3 days does not cost over 10. Stayed as part of tour so unfortunately had no other option.

A family-run hotel neatly tugged away among charming streets and with a relaxed, yet still connected, feel to the neighborhood. I had a room with a view of the lake which was amazing to rise to every morning - there is also a rooftop with an amazing view! The rooms were very basic and the fan noisy, but the location made it a nice place to stay.

This is a family run haveli heritage hotel in Udaipur. We stayed here for 3 nights with Intrepid. I had a double bed with 2 single mattresses on it for me and my room mate. There was a fan and air con. We were told we had to pay 600RP to use the air con for 3 nights as it wasn't included in our price on the tour. My friends paid and then there were power outages all 3 days for at least 3 hours. The water in the shower runs everywhere which makes it dangerous on the marble. I also fell and slipped down the stairs in my thongs. There is no reception and you have to yell out to find someone. The rooftop restaraunt was alright.

I stayed here for 3 nights with Intrepid on a tour. The hotel was basic but clean- you can see from my photos (I had a twin room on the second floor with a limited view of the lake). The fan only worked intermittently and was VERY noisy when switched on. The bathroom was tiny, you wet the entire room when you had the shower on and you had to flush the toilet using a tap! The wi-Fi wasn't great and there was a really cute but noisy dog that took to barking at all hours of the night. The restaurant was shut but the rooftop bar did have a nice view.

This is a family-run hotel that's clean and comfortable. It has a great location in Udaipur, close to the water (where boats leave for lake tours) and the City Palace. Our room was on the third floor and was lovely. The rooftop is excellent and has beautiful views of Lake Pichola. The rooftop restaurant serves basic, tasty dishes that are very reasonably priced. The biggest flaw of the hotel is the water: it was very hard to get any hot water and our toilet wouldn't flush properly, meaning the bathroom smelt of dirty water every morning. Also, be careful of the stairs because they can be slippery.
