Unlike most of the other tourist places in Dharmashala, Bhagsunag has only a few hotels that offer basic comfort and accommodation for tourists. However, it does have quite a few attractions that draw visitors here. The Bhagsu Waterfall which lies behind the Bhagsunag temple is one of the most famous spots. It is located about 2 km from Mcleodganj, especially during the rainy season when the falls transform into a 30 feet cascade. Another popular tourist attraction is the Bhasugnag temple or Temple of Shiva of which most of its worshippers are from the 14 Gukha platoon villages that are from Dharmashala. The temple was constructed in the 1800 century and is located about 2 km from Mcleodganj Bazaar. Apart from these, there are a few lesser known spots that tourists can visit while in Bhagsunag. Bhagsunag is one of the popular villages in Dharmashala which sees a rather large number of tourists every year. It is located about 11km from Dharmashala and 2 km from the more popular area of Mcleodganj.
