Came to agra to visit the taj, and thats what i got! Spent one night at this place and it was a superb location to visit the taj mahal. The rooms were nice and tea and coffee was supplied. The rooftop has a very cool view of the taj if you can find it. Would recommend this place.
This is a budget hotel quite close to the East entrance of Taj Mahal. We arrived late (at 11 pm) but were able to eat something in the restaurant. When waiting for the food we spotted a mouse.... The room itself felt quite dirty, the sheets and towels not fresh and the bed was as stone. I guess we got what we paid for. On arrival, we ordered a guide and taxi for our Agra tour (which we shouldve done earlier). The hotel guide was so and so, we wanted to go to four different places but he left us after Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, leaving us with the taxi driver to discover Baby Taj and the backside garden by ourselves. The taxi driver was however very friendly and showed us around the town after the major visits. Advice: don't order a guide via the hotel. It's a good place to stay if you want a cheap room close to Taj Mahal, but we would recommend choosing something else..
It was a very good stay and awesome service provided by hotel , near to taj mahal and many other awesome places to visit. Car to visit taj mahal and other places is provided by the hotel with reasonable price... clean room hotel as well..
Even though the hotel is well located just like 5min walking from one of the main gates of the Taj Mahal, and the price of the rooms was just ok, the cleanness of the place is terrible. When you go inside the hotel (meaning reception and room floors area) there is the HORRIBLE SMELL that the best way I could describe it was like the smell of hundreds of wet stray dogs! Awful something completely unbearable. Then when we got our room, the BEDS are hard as stones and WET! They are humid! Everything from the towels to the bed sheets everything was humid! The toilet paper ran out quickly since they gave us like 1/4 of 1/2 normal papes roll. The hot water ran out quick also! After all these ordeal when I was about to lay down to sleep on the humid bedsheets (can't stress this enough) I saw a bunch of bugs coming out of the back of the bed (still I'm not quite sure if they where termites or TICKS! ) Definitely a terrible place to stay! And cherry on top: the Wifi connection never workedn
We stayed here for only one night for very cheap which should have been the first warning sign. Our room smelled like septic and smoke, the heater costs money to rent and our sheets were dirty. We decided to try to get a better room, the change was a little better smell wise but the sheets still weren't clean and there was old rice on the table and the toilet did not flush. I knew this would've been a simple hotel but at the very least it should be clean. The area is also a little dodgy with a lot of people loitering outside. As three young women we decided to stay in for the night. The good thing is that it is a 5-10 minute drive to the Taj Mahal and red Fort.
