My office had reserved a room in "Shrimad Residency Hotel" but due to some goof up.... my reservation did not show up.... and they (Management of Shrimad Residency) in turn put me in Hotel Avion Inn. The hotel is located on the 3rd Floor of a commercial building. The check in was fast. The room allotted to me was comfortable in size but not clean as required. Regular business travellers will understand this that a tired body at the end of the day requires freshness in the room. A nice cozy comfortable clean and fresh room ( even if not luxurious at all) will soothe the mind and give relaxation to the body. This was completely missing !!! After spending a few minutes it was clear to me that this management has no clue of cleanliness. The blanket corners were outright dirty. The floor had specks of dust. The Aluminium panes of windows behind the curtain had layers of dust! The bathroom .... in the room allotted to me was bizarre! it was almost a foot high than the bed room floor, small in size and the tilt was towards the door. It was a very basic bathroom. Unfortunately during my bath in the morning, the water clogging occurred and I had to walk thru 1" of soapy water that did not drain..... but was in a hurry and in no mood to show it to the reception. They dont have a restaurant. The room service menu is limited. The tea was average in quality. Some snacks ordered were also average in quality. There was no other facility. While checking out, I did ask and inform that they need to keep the rooms clean but realised that they were not interested in my suggestions. For those travellers who need cleanliness, i would recommend to find other alternatives.
