This conveniently located hotel is let down by the lax attitude of the management. The security person equipped with metal detector,who is supposed to be stationed at the entrance of the hotel,is always missing.Hence,the guests and luggage are never checked for security-hence a security hazard. The rooms are showing signs of ageing,with fittings coming out loose.The walls are so thin,you can easily hear out your neighbours conversation.One of the two capsule lifts, installed to service hotel's 130 rooms spread over 9 floors, went out of service on 2 consecutive days-I got stuck in it for 15 minutes and had to climb down from half open lift gate between 2 floors.The lift is not equipped to land on to the nearest floor in case of breakdown-an indicator of outdated equipments. The Buffet Breakfast spread is a big let down,not befitting the hotel's star category.The food quality is unpalatable,staff does not believe in serving guests.Chef chooses to remain absent during breakfast time,subordinates ill equipped to serve guests.I was forced to forgo my buffet breakfast due to unprofessional staff attitude and poor food quality. I took pain in bringing the hotel's deficiency to the management,but the hotel's GM,Mr Sinha's attitude was non-commital and casual,the Chef's understanding.If only the property is run professionally,it would become valuable for guests.
