Pros * location: near Amritsar station and 10-min auto ride away from Golden Temple * spacious rooms and tasteful decor with woodier flooring * all expected in-room amenities present and in good working condition * prompt, pleasant, cheerful and ever-helpful housekeeping, restaurant and entrance / main lobby staff * delicious food, when ordered a-la-carte Cons * faulty electronic door locks; unlocks once in 5-10 attempts * inconsistent availability of hot water through the day * faulty bath fittings (shower head, shower cubicle door hinge) * clean, but stitched up / jaded linen * indifferent, un-empathetic and inflexible reception desk staff * inadequate day-on-day variation in buffet breakfast spread * items prepared better when served a-la-carte than when served as part of buffet * a-la-carte items steeply over-priced

The food was very healthy and nicely covered when it was served. The taste matched my whole taste buds and it was quite good. The service of the staff was very good and all our queries were replied in a very polite manner.

I must say the last day was terrible after making 3 calls doesn't receive water n on check out also I have demand water but I received it after 10 minutes on repat request to reception staff service need to be improved

A very nice and pleasant experience from the time of check in to check out. Comfortable room, well laid out breakfast, courteous staff from the doorman to the Asst. Manager and all in between including the waiters.

Don't Stay if you are a Elite Loyalty Holder as they don't know what is it. Even though after complaining and confirmation of the front desk to address it things were still not in place. The only thing good is the food. service wise there is a sheer absence of commitment and the punch is missing in the personnel to be inclined towards providing service. location wise its ok. but if you are reactive to noise kindly reconsider your decision as acoustics are not up to the mark. higher floors might solve the noise from outside but the corridor sounds still persists. Service wise in the restaurant is ok. there needs to be a lot of improvement in many areas. higher floors might sole
