Good location, Good rooms and Good hospitality. Really liked the stay. thanks Holiday inn! This was not too far away from Golden Temple. Good eating joints nearby especially the famous "Kulcha land" across the road.

Is was an unbelievable experience . My family members including my friend felt sad at the time of checkout. This it self speaks of hospitality and quality of stay. The place was Royal as well as had heritage value food was excellent including desserts@ well we gonna say thanks to Shalu amazing hospitality

Stayed here for last 2 nights of holiday booked via Newmarket. Total shambles! ! 1st room had not been cleaned feaces still around toilet!! Stains all around table by bed .When requested new room was personally assured by house keeping manager he had checked room and standard was done on entering room there was still last persons hair on bedside table and coffee stains obviously not cleaned. Now getting frustrated was left in reception for 2 hours where they didn't stock gin or lager. Other members of party had similar problems very disappointed as other hotels had been fab. Don't stay here hygiene is awful and for India you need this . Newmarket need to change this hotel on their itenary.

Am sitting in the Hotel bar, am using this term advisedly. They have not had any gin, Indian beer or lemonade as of yesterday. Today they have no gin and no beer. There is a shop selling alcohol up the road from here perhaps they need to go shopping.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour so cannot comment on the room rate. We had a decent room with views over Amritsar. Food was pretty good and as Indians use it, some food was spicy. Staff were helpful but the issue of breakfast drinks needs speeding up. There was a pleasant bar area and generally a no-worries Holiday Inn experience.
