I stayed here after reading about it in the LP. It was cheap and I was upgraded but the rooms are tired, don't let in a lot of light (ground floor) and the bathroom had mould (a plus was the hot showers). It's a big hotel but I felt like the only one staying there which was a bit weird. The staff are friendly but the tours were quite expensive 2,500 for the golden temple and boarder crossing although the driver drove safely and was nice (he also took me to an amazing Hindu temple that I wouldn't have found by myself). You can also pay by credit card which helps. The restaurant breakfast was so so, eggs not good but the Indian breakfast was good. Ok for a short stay due to cheap rate and convenience.
