Hotel Raj Continental

This place is exceptional. The staff is extremly cooperative. We had a medical emergency and the whole hotel staff was on toes to help us. The manager took personal care to find doctor and book an appointment. Overall cant thank them enough for their supwrb hospitality. This is the place to stay when in Amritsar.

I recently stayed at Taj Swarna , Amritsar and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I checked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. The rooms were immaculate, well-equipped, and designed for comfort. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast. It offered a wide variety of options to suit every taste, from fresh fruits, pastries, and cereals to hot dishes like eggs, sausages, and pancakes. The quality of the food was exceptional, and everything was fresh and delicious. The dining area was spacious and beautifully set up, with a warm ambiance that made mornings feel special. The staff ensured tables were promptly cleared and that all items were replenished without delay. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a standout breakfast made this trip unforgettable. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and fulfilling experience!

Check in and check out was swift. The welcome drink was tasty. The staff were always helpful with all queries We used the pick up and drop off service and it’s was easy to communicate via what’s app with the Concierge Sandeep. We also hired the hotel taxi. It was clean and we felt safe in the car. The breakfast was lovely and the waiter and head were accommodating. The hotel was clean. The rooms were spacious and when we requested foam pillows it was given to us. We went in the cold season so when we asked for a hot water bottle and heater in the room it was good. We also used the laundry service. No complaints there. We would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here with my mother for one day and am absolutely in awe of this place. The staff is extremely nice and the breakfast buffet was excellent. This is exactly how a Taj brand hotel should be. Well done guys. You made my trip delightful. Would definitely visit again. ’’

Rating: ’’’’’ I recently stayed at Taj Amritsar, and my experience was a mixed bag. The food was enjoyable, and the facilities were well-maintained. However, the rooms fell short of my expectations for a 5-star hotel and felt closer to a 3-star standard. The view from my room was disappointing, facing a rooftop covered in bird droppings and some discarded bins’certainly not the scenery you’d expect. The iron and ironing board were in poor condition, with visible mold and stains, and the room service phone had a broken cable. Reception staff was just okay and didn’t give off the welcoming, premium vibe associated with a 5-star establishment. For the price, I expected a better experience. There are more appealing options available in the area. I also emailed the GM with this feedback but didn’t receive any response, so I’m sharing it here. Overall, I don’t feel it was worth the money.
