It was an another visit to Ritz Plaza and visiting again to the same property speaks in itself. Cosy rooms with the staff offering personalized touch...... I personally feel rooms and facilities of all hotels are more or less same- It is the staff's behaviour which matters a lot and which makes a difference........ Right from front office to restaurant to housekeeping- the staff members showed their eagerness to help you and satisfy your queries... Warm Welcome by Ms. Shikha at front office and timely service with smiling faces by Rest Manager under the leadership of Mr. Ajay & Surender beside making the rooms neat and tidy by housekeeping staff under the guidance of Mr. Ram, to your needs is really commendable.
Infact I felt that all this could happen due to energetic and efficient leadership of Mr. Piyush Kapoor, GM- who was omnipresent to hear and assist you .
To me, the hotel gives you a HOMELY LOVING TOUCH plus its location makes it worth to be visited again n again.........

The online pictures are very misleading. The hotel states that it is 4 star but I would be very surprised. The whole hotel is pretty grubby and the restaurant is very disappointing and unloved. The hotel appears to cater for an airline/Air India and hotel customers appear to be a bit of an inconvenience. Much of the food stated on the menu is not available and what we did eat was second rate. I would not return to this hotel which is a shame because it looks like it was once a great place. In summary, grubby, broken, unloved and disappointing.
Two is my second day at the Hotel Ritz Plaza. Lovely Room overlooking the pool with big window. Room very spacious cozy and comfortable with 5 star amenities and facilities.
Service, Food quality and upkeep of the hotel is excellent.
The service standards are superb. Love to be at the ultra modern and unique hotel of Amritsar.
Pictures on web sites of this hotel are EXTREMELY misleading I think they were taken 20 years ago! Pool was dirty - actually it was green- with only 2 sun beds-presumably only 2 as no one would want to sit there! air con controller in rooms show as working but are not as is controlled by reception- so you must call to have air con in room. No water pressure for shower tho we did have hot water . Food was mediocre. And only able to get WiFi in the lobbys! On the plus sideReception staff were extremely helpful and helped to make a very disappointing visit bareable
I am surprised why this hotel calls themselves as a four star property. Its not more than a 3 star property and the type of hotel that you would find opp any railway station or bus stand. Their breakfast menu is almost negligible, tea takes hours to come and staff is not coperative at all. The real hotel is nothing like what you see in pictures online.
My advise - Dont stay here.
