I would surely not recommend this hotel to anyone. My advice is to check the facilities which hotel claims to have. Swimming pool was empty. AC in the room was not effective. Breakfast was not at all eatable with bread toast so hard that teeth will come out if someone take a bite. Room decor was not at all of even 2 star hotels.out if someone take a bite. Our room was on the 1st Floor as there was renovation going on in the hotel so they shifted us to the 3rd Floor the room was pretty comfortable. Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was just 15-20 minutes from the airport as well as 15 minutes from the Golden Temple. I had my food in the hotel the food was good and served very nicely by the hotel people.the Golden Temple. I had my food in the hotel the food was good and served very nicely by the hotel people.

Terrible !! Book only if you want to ruin your vacation Terrible !! Book only if you want to ruin your vacation

by Sumant0 on February 16, 2017

In a nutshell, my stay along with my family at this stinkhole of a hotel has been the worst till now.... period! What you get for booking an OYO PREMIUM at this hotel 1) Stinky, dirty toilets, the sight of which will make your stomach turn (pics attached) 2) Non working fans (in one of the two rooms) 3) Suffocating rooms (AC does not work. You will have a vent in your room without controls just for looks purposes. Reception staff, when called gave the most stupid reason for the suffocation. They claimed that the hotel has central ac and they have put on the heating because according to them it was cold. temp was 21 degree celcius. So we had to open our windows and mange with my 1 year old son, the whole night with mosquito bites. 4) No coffee maker 5) Used drinking water bottles was there in one of the rooms. (half filled with water) 6) Dingy, dark hallways and corridors (No lights) The hallway carpets have not been cleaned for years 7) Free wifi is a myth there. 8) Broken bath fixtures and switches 9) Uptight Rude reception staff. Seems he vents all his lifes frustrations on the visitors 10) Swimming pool is a big joke. Its like a bait to trap fish like us Very Few Positives 1) Clean bed linens and bath towels 2) big rooms 3) ample parking space (It is obvious as nobody visits this place so parking lot remains empty) 4) Good location Food is average and the breakfast spread is extremely limited but clean.

A good hotel at a prime location A good hotel at a prime location

The hotel is located on the main Map road at the centre of the city. Everything from here is at Close proximity. The rooms are big and offer a city view. Contains two huge lawns for parties and a big pool for poolside parties. Not very expansive as per the services it offers.

Typical Dharamshala Typical Dharamshala

The property feels more like a Glorified-Dharamshala, The Quality of Kettle was dangerous & the electrical fittings were lose. Okay for Families & Pilgrims, however strict No No for Business-Traveller. Will give a pass if offered next time.

Beds were ok but sheets were not smelling fresh...breakfast was average, could be better. Bathroom shower tap would come out. It's a very old hotel.. needs more cleanliness. Price paid but not got the worth of it.

I have stayed in the hotel from June 25-27, 2016. I went to Amritsar with another friend family along. We have booked two double occupancy rooms. Entry to the hotel is fine with a decent porch area. But its condition can be well spoken about when you see the Bronze hotel name was also getting rusted and central facade in front of the hotel also not very well maintained. Lobby was fine but seemed bit dark. We were allocated rooms on the first floor. We used the lift but it was such well maintained that when it decides the doors to be closed it will not look anything in between. Bit scary. Bed room size is decent with a decent bed with good bedding. Toilets required maintenance though. Constant dripping of water in the commode and in toilteries only one soap on the basin was there but no soap in the bath area. Next day we booked a cab from the hotel but the cab was not in good condition with air conditioning not having enough gas to keep the guest relatively at comfort temperature inside. We put it strongly with the hotel and hotel conveyed to cut the price of the cab but charged us initial full amount. Breakfast was not too elaborative but workable and of decent quality. Finally pool was there but no other recreational activity on offer. Should have more recreation. Also I have sent my kid from 1st floor to seek for a pencil or a pen and a piece of paper or a pad for some note writing down. They simply said no pen / pencil an given one piece of paper. This speaks volume.
