This is a FRAUD hotel. I booked the hotel 1 month beforehand. Paid the amount via Credit Card. 5 Days before the arrival I confirmed with Hotel on a call regarding my booking status. Hotel staff said your booking is confirmed and we will be happy to greet you. When I reached the Hotel on the check-in day, they said there is no room available. I told I have a booking to which he sais I don't know anything about this as the owner did not inform me. All rooms are booked now. Later I talked to owner over a call and he started giving excuses saying if you do not check-in by midnight we will give room to others. Although I was there at 11:45PM. Once the argument started gearing up, he said that he did not receive amount from TravelGuru for this booking and once you check-in only then he will be given the amount. To this I scolded him very badly and threatened him of a legal action to which he agreed to arrange for a room in a nearby hotel on his own expenses. I could have proceeded legally as this is a case of FRAUD but I spared him considering the spiritual feelings I have with that city. TravelGuru is also a useless website for hotel booking since they provide false information and upon arriving customer has to face such issues. Similar experience I had in Jaipur when I booked through TravelGuru. TravelGuru is an ir-responsible and un-ethical travel service provider.
