The room though small is well appointed and comfortable. The staff are polite and courteous. Food is good. However, I feel that staff can do with some training to improve the experience. The biggest problem is its location, which is quite far from the city and is isolated. Only option to travel from here is public transport like bus or auto. App based cab service though have started in Asansol, you won't get a cab near the hotel when you need one. Otherwise, a good hotel to stay in for budget travelers.

It is one of the quality hotels in Asansol. The food served here is of high standards and the rooms of this place is respectable. The only disadvantage is its location as it is in outskirts or can say in NH 2.

Let me start with the location part first. This place was quite away from the railway station, about 5km. Apart from that everything was great. You can spot the place as you reach Nigha area. This is a luxurious property and has great amenities. I stayed in the standard room for a night as I was on a business trip. The breakfast was sumptuous and tasty. The staff was courteous and helpful. All in all it was a pleasant stay!

Have booked by seeing the brand Citi Residency, however I was wrong. Never seen such small rooms and bad service ever. The day I stayed some civil works were going on, apart from this one marriage party also there. Far from Asansol city, Bad sleep quality, late room service, bad quality rooms; everything went wrong.

I visited this restaurant on 30 May 2016 in Asansol along with my friend and came to know THEY DON'T SERVE FREE DRINKING WATER! You have to compulsarily buy. One of the staff said you can bring water from outside. I asked how does the staff manage, to which he replied company has separate provision for them (for the staff). I called up the manager (phone no 8967****11) stating the problem to which he said it is "Hotel policy" the written record of which was never shown to me. He said we cannot bring water from outside (his staff from restaurant says you can). He also said that their staff manages water from their own as everybody lives near the restaurant! Further he said that he doesnt have water filter so he cannot give free water. But the Theque Restaurant in Durgapur is very old and there too, they are not giving free water till date! So the mentality of the management is to force money out of the consumer. So basically I spoke to a liar. Either the manager or the staff one of them was lying. I STEPPED MY FEET OUT OF THE RESTAURANT AND RETURNED and the manager casually spoke as you wish. No respect for consumer, no ettiquete to serve water; that too in a nation like India where serving water is a noble act. I am paying for food, I am also paying taxes and service charge despite which I am being asked to pay for water! What a shame on the citi residenci group's management who are minting money unjustifiably!
