We stayed there during 24th and 25th December. The Hotel is free of clutter. Nice location. Could be managed better. The bathroom doors require maintenance. Staff is very helpful, specially Mr. Bharat Misra, he went out of his way to do safari enquiry for me. Amenities are clean. Response of Food service staff is rather slow. For each time we ordered something they had to go to the market to buy the ingredients.Taste and appearance of food was avarage.But all the staff are very polite and helpful.
Resort is located just walking distance from the booking counter and all basic amenities. The owner Dr Khan and his staff were one of the most helpul and courteous people always ready to meet any requests with utmost sincerity. They cater to all your needs swiftly. Food was simple and very homely type. If u r looking for luxury in jungle this is not the place for u. I had done my booking directly with the resort owner and got a good rate. Rooms were spacious and clean. If I were to go again I would stay here. Prior booking I was a bit sceptical since I read some negative reviews here but I must say they donot do justice. The resort arranged for pickup and drop from katni and umaria station at a reasonable rate.
I booked this hotel from cleartrip 2 rooms for 2 nights. But when we reached there they said they have received the voucher from cleartrip for one day only. After that I call cleartrip and clear all the matters but this took 2 hours to solve this issue. That is the reason I am given it lower rating. They should talk to cleartrip and solve the issue without harassing us. Except that the food is also little expensive. The positive part was that it is located very close the Tala Gate. So one can go there by walk for ticket booking. But it is better to book the tickets online.
This resort is not amidst jungle like other resorts where I have stayed in past but I am very happy with their service standards. We checked in late around 10pm still they were ready to arrange bonfire, food of our choice. They prepared meals as per our choices and also arranged for vegetables which were not present in the menu. Their chicken curry was awesome but little spicy so recommended with Rice rather than roti. Also try Poha and aloo parantha for breakfast which was very tasty.
I & My Wife Along With Our 2 Kids One Of 12 Years Of Age & The other 8 Years Of Age Had A terrible Time , We Had booked Online for 2 Days by paying 50% of the agreed charges but when we reached there we Found the place lousy were given a dirty room with lot many Lizards , cockroaches & a chameleon so we asked the owner to check the room to which he said he shall come once he is done with watering the compound & lawn area but the room boy started cleaning the room & we too helped him as he was not a trained guy all after this as we saw still many Cockroaches we asked the owner to change the room which he did after failing to please us saying this is Jungle & you must anticipate all these creatures in the rooms & all Rot the shocker was when we shifted to another room where we spotted 3 Frogs In the Room So we decided to leave the hotel but as by the time it was already too late we stayed in the room & when at morning i wanted to go for safari booking no body was willing to open the compound gate & when i contacted the Owner i found him to be over drunk & then he says we don't allow our to go out at their will to which i said in this case how will i manage to get safari tickets so he said that is none of our headache but finally after a long argument i was allowed to go out which took a 1 hour & 20 Minutes Toll on me & I ended up reaching 8th In Q At The Ticket Window & left me in an very very difficult situation to get an ticket but to my good fortune i got a ticket as an Online Reserved Ticket holder did not turn up but lost an hour of safari too . after all this my Family decided to move out so at 10;30 we informed the Hotel Owner That we wish to check out after settling for the night stay & For The Food Bill To Which He said but You need To Pay For the Second Night As well As I had made the booking so i told him normally a guests is entitle for an refund but as we are tourist we do not want to spoil anybody's spirit so we move out for what we have Utilized But His Adamant attitude made me feel that let me pay 50% of the 2nd Booked Day so i offered him in a good gesture but he refused so i told him lets go to Police Station & take their Help but no sooner he heard me saying about Police Station He Said OK I shall accept 50% to which I said No & lets Go to the Police Station & So I & My Family went to The POLICE station & Police after listening both the sides Patiently police asked us to go as they saw our morality & positiveness & the DARK Side Of The Hotel Owner .
