It was a perfect location. 5mins from Tala gate (#1) and within 10mins of all other gates. Warm and friendly staff took good care of us. Its a perfect place for a few hours of rest between the day safaris. The villa was very spacious with huge bathrooms and all in good condition. We missed the wifi connectivity intially, but later got used to it. Overall, a place we recommend and will go back to some day in the future.
Want to stay in Jungle? Just be there. It was a wonderful experience at the resort. The best part...It shares the boundary of the core area.... Friendly and super Helpful stuff. Golu our escort to forest was an experience in itself. Mr. Mahendra the Manager is a real gentleman. It was an Amazing experience to be your guest. You need to be there to feel it.
I visited this resort in the 1st week of October and had an excellent stay . The resort is right behind the Tala Zone of the park and gives you the feel of a jungle resort . The Villas are massive in terms of size ...lot of room to move around and a huge bathroom .As expected , there is no TV in the room and its a blessing in disguise . Your cell network could also be an issue so even that works well when you want to just enjoy the feel of the jungle at night or during the day , once you are back from the safari. The staff is extremely helpful and they always have a smile on the face. I never noticed anyone frown or show attitude for even the smallest of the request . The owner Aloke took great care of us during our stay quest and his personal involvement adds to the wonderful experience for each guest .His travel firm had made perfect arrangement for our safaris / station pick up.
Location is nice, rt next to the jungle. Staff is helpful. Rooms and cottages are well maintained. But no TV in room, children get bored. Restaurant is quite far from cottages. Lot of stray dogs on campus. We went in summer as tiger sightings was the only objective and had 3 sightings in three safaris + Indian sloth bear. For a better view and stay winter or right after the rains is advisable for people who can't bear temperatures hovering around 45 degrees Celsius. Overall an OK experience.
This review is solely based on my Stay at Villa. I am clarifying so that someone should not extrapolate for other stay options. As far as Villas are concerned, everything about it is Top notch. If you chose a villa, you wouldn't have much to complain about. I don't why some guests had mis-guided about this resort's location. It is 3 KM away from the main Ticket counter. There is absolutely NOTHING around the resort in terms of market or shop or restaurant. So you have no choice in terms of Food. Luckily, its good in the resort hotel, but a bit pricey. The staff is very courteous and genuinely helpful.
