Truly best service, best staff and best vibes here.
Rooms are just like cottages, and i can rate it like 4 star rooms.
Jha ji and other kitchens staff are most cooperative.
I also recommend to taste the food.
Must visit happy holiday.
WORST RESORT
by NishantA353 on
Monsoon Forest is the worst resort in Bandhavghar. We took 6-7 rooms there for the New Year i.e. 31st Dec 2020 but experience worst Food, terrible staffs, terrible service. We were 7 couples with small kids.
In the month of December when cold was on peak that day, they didn't even provide us the proper Blankets, heaters were also not working and some how we managed to sleep that too in sever cold with just ac blankets. Will never suggest anyone to go to this terrible property.
His owner hardly matters what's going on in the resort and miss-managed.
Manager Mr. Deepak is of no use.
Horrible and waste of time and many.
Magical place really close to tigers

Kate and I (from London) stayed here 1st- 4th February 2020.
After a four hour drive from Jabalpur airport, we finally arrived at this beautiful oasis, set in a secluded spot in the middle of a forest and only 20 minutes drive from the main gate of the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.
My wife and I stayed in "Nest 8", very close to the main amenities. This was a very comfortable detached villa. It had a large double bed and a big walk-in shower, reached through double doors.
There was a lovely clean swimming pool set in an enclosed part of the beautiful grounds, with lots of "Jungle Babble" (Seven sisters) birds chirping and dashing about everywhere. One day, I took a refreshing dip, as it became quite warm by lunchtime.
There was a fan heater in our Nest, which was most welcome in the very cold mornings, when you awake at 5am!
The communal areas are beautifully and tastefully furnished with lots of statues, artifacts and many sketches and paintings, quite a few of tigers.
We enjoyed the lovely meals in the dining area, which is "open" to the surrounding forest. There is a small pond in front of the main building.
In the evenings, when it became quite cold, a brazier would be lit and placed beside our table, which was very welcome.
Deepak, the Manager, couldn't have done enough for us- attending to all our needs. One instance, when Kate fell very ill, having unwisely eaten something
outside the resort, Deepak rushed her off to see a doctor at the nearest hospital, about 30 minutes away.
And on our last morning, at 6am, Deepak, his wife Himani and their very young daughter, came to see us off. Indeed, he waved us off each morning as we set off on our safari drives in the open Maruti jeep, having been loaded with blankets and an excellent packed breakfast.
So, our grateful thanks to Deepak, his family and his lovely staff.
And yes- we saw 5 tigers in the three days we enjoyed at the Monsoon Forest!
We can highly recommend this wonderful place.
Slice of Heaven

I visited Monsoon Forest as a tour leader with a group of clients in April 2019. I have to say I was blown away by the place. Its design first off is very tasteful, artistic and rustic. The rooms are massive and super cumfortable. The surroundings are amazing and one with nature. the staff are super friendly and accomodating. And Deepak the GM is amazing and a true marvel. We had a fantastic time and cant wait to come back again next year
