We stayed at Royal Heritage for two days. The overall experience was really overwhelmed. This hotel looks like a palace. One can have go for photo shoot inside of the hotel corridor as well as in hotel premise. This is very near to Tala zone (10 min walking) of Bandhavgarh National Forest. The manager do arrange for safari in the national forest. The staffs are really welcoming and gentle in behavior. The rooms are very spacious with AC/Non Ac facilities, well furnished and LED TV equipped in it. The inside corridor and the roof of the hotel are really amazing. This hotel has its own restaurant and quality of the food is really good with reasonable price.
Great Place to stay with excellent service
They have a large open yard where you can enjoy the beauty of the place and nature too.
Large rooms and toilets - quite clean
The staff is very helpful and supportive - we reached around 1 AM and had asked them to prepare the dinner and keep it in the room. However the team served us hot food when we arrived.
We stayed 4 nights, while we went on a couple of jeep safaris in the park. The hotel manager helped arrange the safaris, although, alas, not any tigers.
The building is splendid, reminiscent of a Rajasthan palace. There's lots of marble, but few soft furnishings, so it was a bit boomy, especially when a party of lads staying decided to chase, tickle and yell during late and then early hours. Fortunately they only stayed one night.
The rooms are large, pleasant, with a bit of a view. The food was fine and reasonably priced. The shower was hot sometimes. The WiFi was patchy inside our room, but good enough.
The manager spoke good English, but wasn't there all the time. The other staff - all helpful - spoke enough to run the hotel, but not enough to help with complex things like details of jeep safaris (the park's instructions being a bit lacking). It's about 15 mins walk to park entrance, but the tiger figures the locals install in the roadside bushes might give you a fright if you do it before dawn.
To my western eyes, the hotel and grounds looked a little raw and unfinished. If they finished it off with a bit of plush and soft furnishings, to match the building's potential, one might expect prices to rise a fair bit. We paid 1,500INR for the room, which seemed good value.
I went to Bandhavgarh National Park from 18th-20th January 2017. The resort was really nice. The services provided were more than adequate. The hospitality provided by the staff was really nice. Reaching the gates of the National Park wasn't as issue from the resort as they managed everything. Food wasn't an issue as it was delicious. The size of the rooms was massive, toilets are well sanitized. If you are visiting Bandhavgarh national Park I request you to kindly check this resort as it's a really great overall package
