We spent 3 nights at the Tiger Trails Resort, in a nice and clean cottage. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and provided excellent service with a smile. They even provided hot water bottles for the chilly February nights! The food was delicious and varied; we never ate the same thing twice! The manager was very helpful in assisting us in getting train tickets at a small agency in town. One morning, a staff member took us on a short walk of an hour through the area around the resort, which was very nice. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it as a good value base from which to undertake safaris in Bandhavgarh.
We stayed here for 2 nights.. the service was excellent. Food was good according to the place.. hotel staff provided all the reqiured facility .. be it vehicles for safari, room heaters, camp fire etc. Rooms are gud and well maintained. The manager mr mukesh was very friendly and helpful. Will surely visit here again in future.
The moment we arrived at the resort, we got a feeling that its awesome. The campus of the resort is full of trees. Few staffs cam to the gate to receive us. The staffs are very courteous and specially, Mr. Mukesh Yadav, the manager of the resort is very polite, courteous and helpful. We had a glitch with our Safari and he managed that with ease and was always ready to help. He ensured that we do not face any issues during our stay. It was a cold night and we asked for a bonfire which they arranged as per our convenience. The rooms are very clean and gives the feeling of staying in a jungle. The resort is full of trees and there's a small pond which adds to the beauty of it. The food is nice as well. The resort is near to the Tala gate but not on the road which is good as it gives the feeling of staying in the jungle. The best part of the resort is the courteous staff. Everyone catered to us with a smile on their face,
I visited this place in the month of October 2016 with couple of my friends. The most important benefit of this hotel is its 'location'. This property is hardly 10 minutes drive from the Tala gate, Safari booking office and the main market place, but yet it will provide you a personalized and private feel of jungle once you enter in this resort. It is surrounded by greenery from all the sides and also has a small water body. This water body is a good birding spot in summer when the water in other areas dries out. The rooms are clean, comfortable. Staff is very helpful, polite and make your lunches and dinners memorable with their ample stories of tiger encounters. Food is amazing, the staff will ask you every time, that what you wish to have in next meal. In the budget tariff they have, the experience provided is really amazing. Would love to visit this place again ! -- NIitn
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here even with a few of the downsides! I'm not a picky traveler really but it would be nice to have clean running water on occasion. Barring that, I really did enjoy my stay here, though that could be in part due to my large number of tiger spotting safari's I embarked upon. Back to the hotel then! The staff were friendly, provided excellent service and did everything in their power to accommodate us. All with smiles and no demanding of tips. The room was clean, beds were comfy and the ambience of the location was absolutely stunning. Overall an excellent experience, but if you are the type of traveler who needs to be connected at all times, then please don't go here! Wifi was appalling, but I didn't mind as I was not there for that but rather as a getaway from the speedy life I usually lead.
