This was my 7th visit to BNP & this time I chose Tiger Trails for my birthday based on the reviews on Trip Advisor, but the experience was pathetic & didn't met expectations.Let's start with the checkinn, I had reached there at 11:30 AM,it was raining & chilling weather the guy at the reception to ask other staff to bring lemon water as welcome drink in this kind of weather, they even don't have that much sense who drink lemon water in winter season, after that I had told him to bring tea. Got the room at 12:15 although the checkinn time was 12:00.Hot water supply was good. The lunch in the first day afternoon was good, liked the custard in dessert.I took the AP package includes evening tea & cookies. Got the tea in the restaurant after waiting 1 hour & guess what we get in cookies PARLE-G which was also calculated in 5 nos.In the evening when I asked one of their staff where will you arrange candle light dinner for my birthday celebration which was included in my package, he said the it's impossible as the weather is not good eventing camp fire was there & tribal dance also arranged, but for my birthday arrangement weather was not good, most of their staff are PHD in making excuses.
After that I had asked the reception guy that it was in my package, he convinced to arrange the same. The table which they provided was small enough that even two dinner plates are not fitted on it.The food was average on first day. On second day morning, In breakfast there was oil dipped methi paratha & aloo bada, both the items are oil filled, if someone who doesn't eat oily food, what he will eat, the option left was only bread. In the afternoon lunch as one few guests left, they have compromised with the options as compared with the previous day spread in lunch. In the dinner also the same thing happened. When I had asked for campfire they straightaway denied as weather is not good.On the checkout day morning I surprised to see only 1 option in breakfast UPMA, when I asked about it that why only 1 option is there, the guy who is serving the breakfast said sir as you told us to make upma in the morning we prepared it,
I don't know when I said it like this. In my 2 days stay I didn't recognized who is manager, who is receptionist, who is kitchen in charge....Totally unprofessional behaviour of staff....This was my 7th visit to BNP, but my experience in every resort was superb except this one. Please don't play with feelings of the guests as we plan our holidays with lots of hopes to make sweet memories in future & not the bitter one.
The resort is well located and is very close to the Tala gate. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the staff is very helpful and courteous. We stayed for two nights we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Hotel manager was very helpful and helped us out with our safari bookings. We were traveling with our pet,the hotel provided us with meals as requested for our pet.
My wife and I spent four wonderful nights at Tiger Trails. The lodge is under a new lodge manager and he and his staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The chef was unbelievable and he even gave my wife a personal cooking class. The property is also very conveniently located to the gate to Tadoba and you are in the park in five minutes. We also saw seven tigers, including the famous Tara with her two mischievous cubs. Overall, a great great experience.
This property is just 10 minutes from the Tala entry gate. The property is quite spacious and has a lot of greenery along with few water bodies. There are independent cottages for stay where each cottage has 2 rooms. The rooms are quite spacious, neat and well maintained. Every necessary amenity is there. Modern western style bathrooms are attached. Dining is also quite spacious and the food is great too. They can arrange barbecue, bonfire, folk dance etc. if required.
We were there for 4 nights. Excellent ambiance blended with nature. All the staff and Manager Mukesh was going an extra mail to make our stay comfortable. The resort is very close to Tala gate. They took special care in food preparation (me being vegan). I would hospitality at its best. Awesome experience
